My new keyboard is fucking amazing.
That is all.
[editline]25th January 2013[/editline]
Tacka tacka tacka
How's the lighting on it? All of the keyboards I've ever used are always too bright imo.
The lighting is a little bright on some of the other settings, so I've set it to 60%. Even then it's a bit bright for daytime, so I might consider turning it off during the day.
[editline]25th January 2013[/editline]
Still, it's gonna help a lot when it comes to late-night gaming.
Does anyone have any comments on this product

one of the best red boards
Mechanical Keyboards ftw. I've been using my 1984 IBM board for like ever. Only downfall is that there's no Windows key, or hot keys on the top, but it saves me a USB port and I like the clicky sound and feel it gives. I think it's worth it. Lol.

Ctrl+Esc.

oh my god
[editline]25th January 2013[/editline]
oh my GOD
Edit: what's possibly dumb about this, having a model M this has improved my computing experience quite a bit, as I can search the start menu without having to take my hands from the keyboard
Ctrl+Esc.
Really? Because Ctrl+Esc+D doesn't show the desktop.
I hardly ever use Windows Key for the start menu, but Win+D and Win+R I use a lot.

No issues here, but I'm not a UBER FPS PRO MLG SNIPER SHOOTMANIA 1MS REACTION TIME player, so I think my FPS skill is limited by me far before the keyboard becomes a problem.
Am I the only person that has no problem gaming on mx blues? My Das has no issues for me.
None here. I play Dota 2 too and Blued have never given me trouble with gaming.

AT102W, Black Complicated ALPS.
After finding an Underwood typewriter in the loft, I can now appreciate the IBM model M fully

My friend is in Dignitas' Shootmania team and he has MX Blue.
Also, I'm think of getting the Logitech G710+. I have a G110 currently and 2 of my mates are always banging on about mechanical keyboards. The G710+ is basically the G110 with 6 less G keys which I don't use anyway and all the convenient media keys, volume control.
Any owners help me out on the decision?
Been using my HHKB non-stop. Like, every time I stop typing I want to type more. This thing is addictive.
It's not the best gaming keyboard though. This is mostly because of the placement of the CTRL and ALT buttons. At least in the case of Dota 2. For FPS' it's fine-ish because CTRL for me is Crouch 100% of the time. It's not a terrible spot for it. Complicated games like Dwarf Fortress are a nightmare though and I pulled out my Das to play it, which now sits on my desk whenever I need it again. Still love the space saving aspect of it, still love to type on it, but don't get it for gaming.
Also, still miss dedicated arrow keys.

Go for something like a Das if you don't need any of the fancy Logitech stuff with the keyboard. It still has media controls on it if that's all you need as far as frills.

I bought a Thermaltake keyboard with nearly the same layout as the HHKB for $40. Discovered that I will NEVER like that keyboard layout, thank god the CM Storm Quickfire Rapids came out shortly after.

I'm pretty sure the G710+ isn't as higher quality as a Filico say, but the only other comparable option with volume and media keys is the K80, but that isn't fully mechanical and it's red switches compared to the brown? in the Logitech.
Also if you're looking for a buyer for your G110 give me a PM ;)

iirc the G710+ comes in browns/blacks
Mechanical Keyboards do not mate a difference, and are very over-rated. Don't buy into these spoilt brats show off techniques, the only people who say they're good are rich an have no life.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but they certainly do mate a difference.

Who/what is Filico? Are you referring to the Corsair K90? That has waaaayyyy too many G keys for my liking
Also, I'll add you on Steam as I'm probably going to be getting a G710+ and need to get rid of my G110.

Tell me about it, it looks like it was made in the 90's. Actually, it probably was.

Filco's are regarded widely as the best mechanical boards available. Sans things like the HHKB of course.

I tried looking it up but I don't think you can get a UK layout of a HHKB.
Yeah, I'm fairly sure that the only ISO topre boards are Realforce
