So my lovely Majestouch wobbles. Flexing it seems to fix it but doesn't seem permanent. Also I'm getting black friction trails all over my desk whenever I move it. Is there a solution to these things?
Got my Model M today. I'm literally in love with it.
Nice, white label. One of the better ones for sure.
And for $44 who can complain?
I wish keyboardco wasn't so badly layed out
At least they're friendly. We refer to the "Person-to-Person Keyboard People" on a first name basis!
I don't think they're necessarily poorly laid out, but the yellow is a retina annihilator.
I don't think they're necessarily poorly laid out, but the yellow is a retina annihilator.
It really fucks with my night-blindness. [sp]It's a joke[/sp]
In retrospect, I wish I got a white HHKB. The black on black looked cool in picture but, while getting used to the new layout, it's such a hassle. Even a quick peek at the keyboard turns into a giant lean over to see what the hell I'm trying to type.
Give it another week or two, it'll all fall into place.
I'm sure it will, it's nothing wrong with the keyboard itself, it's just a pain to look at when learning the thing.
All my skype friends hate me ever since I got my mechanical :v: They keep whining how my keyboard sucks and how it's so loud.
MY IBM MOSDWEL M MAY BWE MALFUNXCTIONING RIGHT NOWE [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] nowthespacebardoesn'twork [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] I managed to find a different keyboard in my draw that I had to repair, while I try and repair my model M :suicide:
Didn't you try to backlight it or something?
I never modified any of the internals, I just literally stuck some USB powered EL wire underneath the keys on the backing plate, but I took it out within half an hour because it didn't look good [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] ended up not using the keyboard I had to repair, because the spacebar was broken so you needed to press it directly in the center for it to work, so it sucked I'm now using a wired microsoft media keyboard that I keep around for emergencies, it feels so horrible and membrane-y [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] Well I lied about that, the circuit board on the top right was broken, it wouldn't recognize anything unless you applied pressure to it so it was bent down flat to the backplate, I tried cleaning the contacts with rubbing alchahol but nothing would work so I drilled a hole in it and screwed it flat, seeing as I didn't want to trash a model M, and it worked for about 7 months but it's suddenly played up, and I don't have the time to fix it right now, so I'll just use this.
I've been spending too much time on r/mechanicalkeyboards. [t]http://i.imgur.com/SaViLfe.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Nhus2Rz.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/kIzEUlx.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/sqB5iYGh.jpg[/t]

I'm in love
I'm going to go ahead and lock in KBC Poker as my final answer. I don't know for sure but the suits on the back made sense.
It's a custom Poker board. It has a "duck case", which is some custom case from somewhere.
I had thought it was some Poker variant but I had no ideas they did customs. Probably lots of money and a pain in the ass to arrange for, right?
I had thought it was some Poker variant but I had no ideas they did customs. He showed off two HHKB's earlier, and one was a black but replaces the keys with the white version, which is about $80.
I'm planning on buying a mechanical keyboard but I can't decide whether or not I should get brown or red switches. I play a lot of games and type occasionally but I heard both browns and reds are good for gaming. Can anyone give me their opinion on which color to get?

But check the chart in the OP again and see which switch would best suit you.
What kind did you get?
Cooler Master CM Storm. It's great.
I had thought it was some Poker variant but I had no ideas they did customs. Probably lots of money and a pain in the ass to arrange for, right?
they were over $250 a case crazy asians often hire people to mill metal cases for their keyboards
