Works pretty good in wine-staging
I know, but part of what I like about foobar is how lightweight it is. Wine kinda nulls that compared to deadbeef.

The difference, however, is quite negligible.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/eEHDtNr.png[/t] current desktop of my 2001 titanium powerbook that I got for 3.99 and use for school stuff since I go to a ghetto ass school and don't want my expensive thinkpad being stolen :V the plastic trim was completely separating from the titanium bottom panel, and it got to the point where you could see the motherboard and everything just from when the hinges would bring the plastic with them when opening the lid it was also missing like 4 of the 8 torx screws from the bottom since it had been previously owned by 2 businesses since it was new and heavily used, so i just used some aluminum tape to secure the parts of the case that were sagging...tried to make it look as pretty as I could but aluminum tape is aluminum tape
just wanted to show off my new wallpaper. I really don't like the stock Windows 10 wallpaper... too foggy and grainy. :hairpull:

When the rest of the OS is already around 15GiB, surely an extra few KiB to make the wallpaper they spent so much on not look like arse is doable.
The Windows 10 wallpaper looks like shit you'd find on a site like freewallpapers.com or something.
Microsoft spent so much money making that wallpaper (because it's apparently a real scene, no photoshop) and it really loses it's beauty with the compression. The problem is, once you set ANY picture as a wallpaper, Windows compresses it terribly. Especially with a PNG image. Don't see the point in compressing desktop wallpapers.. does it really affect performance that bad?

So much work for something that looks like trash, if I may be so honest :/

[t]http://horobox.co.uk/u/reag/2015-09-15_04-40-34.jpg[/t] Nothing really changed since last time other than rainmeter.
Just installed Mint
There is actually a proper 4K version in C:\Windows\Web\4K\Wallpaper\Windows that Microsoft forgot (?) about when they put the low quality version as the login screen without including a way to change it. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15606445/img0_3840x2160.jpg[/t] [editline]16th September 2015[/editline] But it's 676 KiB which is way too big.
sbahj version when
I tried. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15606445/sbahj_3840x2160-2.jpg[/t] And at only 77.7 KiB, it is objectively better. In an objectifical fashion.

Hey guys I fixed the windows 10 wallpaper
At least Windows 10 keeps PNG wallpapers as PNG unlike 7.
For w7: Open any high quality png with your browser (only tested with firefox), right click and choose "set as wallpaper". It won't be compressed and keep its quality. [editline]18th September 2015[/editline] Changing stuff in your appearance window (like window color and stuff) will compress it again. Seems like browsers somehow bypass the compression process.
