I run it all locqlly, only online I do is fetching tags from the public repository.
Client updates are every thursday, and there is no updator built in ;)

The monitor on the left is a CRT running at 85hz, with the right running at 60hz. Has caused no more than 11 issues.

No, why would I? The main reason why I was using 8.1 on other computers is because they came with it and upgrading rather than a clean install causes weird problems. My desktop PC is still 8.1 too, so if anything does not work on this laptop because it is Windows 10 I can try it on my desktop PC.

Yeah a lot of desktop shortcuts but it's mainly a workspace for college, video/image editing, managing music, and other crap.
I really love to invest in a 2nd monitor, though.
