I've returned, and this time with a slightly new setup.
I actually uninstalled rainmeter for a while so this is pretty much fresh. It looks nice but needs work for sure.

Like so.
In the below image however, I am using a self-composed 3840 x 1080 background with the fit mode set to span - the wallpapers above are all also 3840 x 1080 in resolution. When set to Slideshow in the span mode, it will scroll through the wallpapers, with each monitor displaying the corresponding half.
