My biggest problem with windows 8 solid colours is that the colours in the task bar and the top of windows are slightly different, so if I manage to get a colour I like in the task bar, I hate the one at the top of the window and vise-versa. I also can't get them to look right with the wallpaper so that bugs me too.

I'm 99.99% certain the second image is from the office of the murdered guy where you find your sister in Mirrors Edge. The third looks like a racing game, but the first, I'm not sure

I like to keep things organized, lol
the side bar retracts when my mouse leaves it.
Thats about the exact opposite of organized and neat. Its just a clusterfuck.
Also you really ought to get a new monitor, its not 2005 anymore and decent monitors are pretty cheap.

I have only a few files on my desktop at once, if any. Anything else goes in a dump folder.

I only keep my games on my desktop, and folders. I add sub-folders to those and even sub folders to those, so I know where everything is. I don't have enough money to buy a new moniter.

I used to use Arch with a Cinnamon DE but for reasons I had to switch to Windows, unfortunately.
