Try to Get a "Darker" more Flat Taskbar Visual Style that Compliments the Rainmeter over your Taskbar
and get a Icon Pack preferably Token Dark or Light depends on what you Like more i used them for over 1 and a Half Year and they Work with almost every skin.

Been working on my start menu. Looking pretty nice I must say. Game tiles are done using [URL="http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/steam-tile/f17f134c-c72d-470b-9d97-9c9d6d4aae85"]SteamTile[/URL], background uses [URL="http://www.stardock.com/products/decor8/"]Decor8[/URL] and the icons are from some DeviantArt pack I found (The Desura One I made myself though).

Got tired of dealing with Windows and I definitely don't like the direction Microsoft is going, so I switched back to Linux. Just trying to make it look good right now. If anyone has any ideas I'd really apreciate it!
I'm on Ubuntu 13.10 right now running Mir/XMir, so right now my only option is Unity. I might change it, but it's pretty nice to use right now.

Do you know if there's any sites like Mycolourscreen for Linux? The best I can do is install default Xfce and that's it.

not exactly like mycolourscreen but there are lots of different stuff to use for customization on these sites. obviously, gnome look is for gnome, xfce look is for xfce etc etc

What about for other things like Openbox/Tint2? I'd always wanted to get a setup with those but I always fuck them up.
