Is anyone aware of a program for Windows 7 that will allow me to theme system icons (not application icons) and package them for other people to use? I'm making my own icon pack, because there's really nothing for Windows that looks good and also covers a wide variety of apps. I want to replace the system icons as well but I can't seem to find a (free?) program that will let me do this So something like 7CONIFIER, but for system icons. [editline]14th October 2013[/editline] Last night I was looking for a GNOME-like theme for Windows 7 and couldn't find anything. And then this got released today. It's like this guy fuckin' read my mind. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Genome-407071678 [t]http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/286/e/f/genome_by_proteinpannkaka-d6qcyim.png[/t]

20GB is a bit much, yeah but you have the hard drive space for it, and having all that swap won't hurt anything

[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/RTHTf7.png[/t] At college in the library with my Manjaro Live USB. It's awesome since it's basically Arch and has yaourt pre-installed as well, and most pieces of software you need. It even has Steam pre-installed but it doesn't connect because the ports seem to be blocked on the firewall. The only thing that sucks is you have to reinstall stuff everytime you reboot. If anyone can tell me how to retain data every boot or a distro that does that; that would be cool.
Some people have a Mac and Customize the Desktop ?
Make it into an actual install instead of a live CD
Can you install it to the USB disk? I can't install it to the college computers of course.
Can you install it to the USB disk? I can't install it to the college computers of course.
I'm sure you can.
Can you install it to the USB disk? I can't install it to the college computers of course.
Yup, I've done it before, I mean sure it's slow as fuck but it sure works.
I'm guessing you can't install it directly from the USB disk to the USB disk. Partitioning and stuff. I guess you could mount it in a VirtualBox and install it using that?
[t]http://fuskbugg.se/file/wccuPs/Untitled-1.jpg[/t]
You should theme the icons as well, because they kinda stand out right now. Also, wallpaper please?
I have a machine with pixels, too. [T]http://scr.pancaek.eu/screenFetch-2013-10-16_20-32-50.png[/T]
That is one damn rad wallpaper.
If anyone wants it you can grab it right here. It's huge. The theme is Numix and the icon pack is Numix uTouch with this. Fonts are: The conky widget is just a modded Google Now, and the FireFox theme is FXOpera. Nice and square to match Numix :D

Live USB with persistence. http://www.linuxliveusb.com/ For any one needing to use a Linux distro at school/work and keep data on it.
Omnimo 6 was released today, and it's pretty cool. Spent the afternoon tinkering with it. They're the Metro-like tiles on the left. Worked on my icons a bit too: fixed the Chrome icon and trying the idea of "squared" icon fonts rather than actual smooth typefaces. Think it fits the "squared" theme better. [t]http://i.imgur.com/KDx1sVv.png[/t] [editline]17th October 2013[/editline] Can't barely recognize it as Windows 7 at this point :v:

I like this quite a bit more then the one in windows 8 right now.
