How do you all get separate backgrounds on your various monitors? I assume not through Windows, because I can't seem to figure it out.
You can either make your own the old fashioned way (stitch 2 images into one using photoshop or somesuch), or use a program like Ultramon/Displayfusion that will do that automatically given two images

Anyone else have a 1440p monitor? It's so roomy.

I will have one later today. Technically I had one a week ago that I ordered but it had two borked pixels so I had it switched for a new one that I will pick up at the post office in a few hours.

There's a thing that enables DreamScene on Windows 7, he's probably using that.
If I recall, Dreamscene takes up a hefty amount of resources, right?

1 dead pixel is not bad for a 1440p monitor, mine came with 5 dead pixels which I'll be replacing soon myself.
Still not acceptable to me. It's one thing if it broke like 6 months from now but when it's like that from day 1, no thanks.

VLC master race
tbh though mpc is better for video playback and anything else
I usually use Win98 themes.
My current setup:[t]http://i.imgur.com/4gdJwKD.jpg[/t]

I'm gonna change the icons on the sidebar to be HD and stuff at some point.

undoubtedly better. vlc is a good swiss army knife for video but there are much better tools for when you aren't dealing with odd filetypes
Scraped a additional 2 displays together, so I made this:
