I feel like my desktops are always too minimal to post. It would just be my wallpaper with the time and date in the corner.
Most of the cool bits of my desktop are things that are annoying and/or difficult to show in a screenshot. e.g. I have Guake bound to the right-click menu button on my keyboard, and I leave ncmpcpp running in it all the time. Whenever I change my wallpaper, I tweak my ncmpcpp theme and Guake color scheme so the columns and such closely match the wallpaper's general color scheme.
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/BG3fhK.png[/t] minimalist to the point where important things are missing
Are you actually able to game on Linux? o.0
Are you actually able to game on Linux? o.0
yup! there are a few big games out there with Linux support, like civ 5, xcom eu, metro redux sometime in the future and even borderlands 2 once that's ready. I believe all of valves games run on Linux too. tons of other games too, but mostly indie. looks like bigger games has started to come around though, so gonna be interesting to see where Linux gaming is in a few years
[t]http://i.imgur.com/ut7XnHZ.jpg[/t] Right monitor is pretty much just dedicated for server shit. Edit: Goddammit I just realized my wallpaper got fucked up. It should stretch across those 2 monitors.

Let's hope that Windows 9 won't be a nightmare for customisation I've gotten lazy (and or schoolwork) and still haven't done anything with my changed setup. And with OS changes imminent I probably won't be fucked doing it at all [t]http://5crat.ch/a/a9dj[/t]
[T]http://i.imgur.com/d4mDQPO.jpg[/T] Changed it.
Back on 8. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/FatWhiteLump/91214.jpg[/t]
I love it!
I had an idea and I executed that idea, I don't know if it was a good idea though, but changing it back would be too much trouble [T]http://upl.kittehcat.org/2014-09-13_02-39-31.jpg[/T]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/tQu9WbP.png[/t] [sp]Just a concept sadly, is there any distros/DE that let's me do this? (I'm not very good with linux, but I'm willing to learn!)[/sp]

I like space. [t]http://puu.sh/bx4MS/7ca7ada46d.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/bx4Xe/169d65fd62.jpg[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/bx4YQ/9838c20c2f.jpg[/t]
Space and desktops play very well together. Always.
Space and desktops play very well together. Always.
Maybe it's because idealy you want to have a lot of space on your desk top [editline]13th September 2014[/editline]

Anyone here tried it?
Damn, that looks nice. I think I'll use that if I ever switch to Linux entirely/get a laptop for college.
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/2PoCOv.png[/t] it looks promising! though it feels very unfinished and static compared to other stuff I've used. the panel has no animations other than the white bar fading in and out under which program is in focus. it's a little finicky to open the start menu as well considering there's no visual feedback for when it can be opened, plus its box doesn't stretch down to the screen edge so trying to open it can be slightly hard. my gtk theme doesn't play well with this either (numix) and makes most text light grey on dark grey background its usability isn't the best, but it's an alpha. I think I'd rather use a dock using a form of ChromeOS theme on a minimal, standalone window manager until this is more developed [editline]fake edit[/editline] after some general usage with the DE, it suddenly went unresponsive, refused to exit any open programs and refused to open any new ones. panel was completely unusable, so I had to kill my display manager from another session. definitely an alpha
I love it!
Thanks. Here's all the stuff I'm using if you want it. Evolve OS is on my torrent list now, will check it out later today. It looks a bit like ChromeOS, while totally not being ChromeOS, and I kind of like that. Functionality wise, I hope it gets to a stable point soon, because this could easily sell in certain computer "refurbishment" stores or what have you. [editline]14th September 2014[/editline] God damn, it finished downloading while I wrote the message. Anyway, I'll check it out later, and report back with some info.
Recently switched to Arch so new wallpapers. [t]http://i.imgur.com/IdhPnpd.jpg[/t]
