Basically the XBPS package manager and that it uses runit for its init system instead of Upstart (earlier Ubuntu) or systemd (Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, Arch, almost any mainstream distro). I like it because the void-installer is just as simple as it was to install Ubuntu and takes five minutes to install. From the [url=https://github.com/voidlinux/xbps]GitHub page on XBPS[/url]:
