That's not what I'm proposing. Wasn't your original build 2300$ or something? Get an SSD now, and a couple of HDDs, then upgrade. And overclocking the K chips is very easy, especially is you've got such a good cooler. You should be able to push it to 4GHz without effort, and 4.5GHz isn't unrealistic by any means. Just follow a good guide, and you'll have no problems doing it.
Okay I will. whats TRIM and why do I need it for SSDs and Windows 7, and if the SSDs I have picked out right now dont have it could someone direct me to SSDs (no matter what the price is, NO MATTER!) that have this trim feature enabled?
Hey it's not my build, get what you want. I just think that features like the hot swappable HDD bays would couple well with your SSDs. And the front fan control feature is great too. Anyway good luck with your build, it looks good and it should drive those 3 1080p panels really well in games.
I recommend the Corsair 800D. It has hot swappable drive bays as well and a window to boot.

and I think I'm going to buy the rig if everyone says its okay.
okay... I'm going to buy the parts...
Unless you want to wait around for Kepler, you've got my go, at least.
Unless you want to wait around for Kepler, you've got my go, at least.
Alright, do you recommend me putting these parts together myself even though I have no idea what to do until I read the manuals that come with the parts, or get someone professional Is it easy enough for me to do it or is it so hard I need someone else to?
It's easier than riding a bicyc- Oh.. On second thought, nah just messin with you. It's easy as hell, if you can read you can build a computer pretty much.
pcityourself.com Is pretty useful for beginners. Touch the inside of the case before you put shit in, and don't use your favorite woolen socks that day. And try to avoid carpets. You'll probably be fine whether you follow these rules or not, but they're just precautions. Feel free to ask for help.

I just noticed that you didn't buy any thermal paste to go with the cooler. Get some arctic silver 5, it's supposedly pretty good.
isn't there thermal paste already included with the cooler?
isn't there thermal paste already included with the cooler?
I'm not sure, how do I find out?
also I'm probably going to wait a few months before I buy the rig will all of these parts fit into the case I'm going to buy? Will there be problems because it looks pretty small?
You're going to wait a few months? Then there's absolutely no reason to make a build now. If you read the rules, we could have avoided this.
You're going to wait a few months? Then there's absolutely no reason to make a build now. If you read the rules, we could have avoided this.
I said probably. And I'm most likely not going to, but I'm tempted to wait for Ivy Bridge and a mobo supporting it. Also, I'm going to be getting kepler because of 2 FPS increase, PhysX, a cool control panel and 50$ cheaper :p Intel says that the Ivy Bridge will only be around $290 or something along those lines of the most expensive i7. I think it's a steal, and better cooling. Do you think I should wait for that? I'm asking for your opinion, but I'm probably going to buy the i5 now and wait for ivy bridge to be released in june.
Well, I'm the kind of guy that'll wait around for just about anything, just to get it cheaper. Keller, or at least the card you'll want, is out. I wouldn't wait for Ivy Bridge if you want to use it now. Sure, you'll get better performance, but you seem like the kind of guy that has enough money to buy a new CPU when you want to. Get the GTX 680, though. Wait around for Ivy if you feel for it, otherwise, do not.

Also, I've noticed that 680 has 1 GB less of gddr5 memory and is only 256 bit, what kind of difference does that make in games?
Memory bandwidth is the same as the GTX 580. It will still beat the 7970 at games where memory bandwidth isn't the largest restriction, which is most games, really.

Also one last question, do you think I should wait till june to buy the ivy bridge and then buy everything else or should I buy everything else in a week and wait till june to get the cpu so I can put it together, sort of like would prices go down if I waited to buy all the parts till the intel cpu came out or do you think I should just buy all the parts and put them together when the cpu comes out?
I got nothing of that, but if you're thinking of waiting for Ivy Bridge, do so and buy all the parts at that point.

Who gave you this idea that it comes out in June?
Non i7 mobile processors and desktop i3s come out in June.
Non i7 mobile processors and desktop i3s come out in June.
Neither of which affect people buying Desktop i7s and i5s.
