Why do you need an ATX
Why do you need an ATX
MicroATX looks retarded in a full sized case with a window and lights.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130573 then get this
K. Should work with any DDR3 1333?
With rebate and cpu promo code it comes out to the same price as your other cpu and mobo and outperforms it by a ton [editline]11th July 2012[/editline] yeah it'll work
Looking at this CPU actually. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115089
Oh and the psu in the op, don't get that [editline]11th July 2012[/editline] You could get that cpu as well
Ok here is the new list of what I am getting: 8gb worth of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231423 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115089 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130573 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028
instead of getting the 2 4gb modules separately, get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231422

Yeah, but you'll probably want to upgrade that soon
Yeah, but you'll probably want to upgrade that soon
Why? Not running into issues at all with that. I have an AMD quad core Phenom X2 (I think) currently. Is this i5 better than that?
If you're looking to go cheaper for graphics http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687 Little more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948 [editline]11th July 2012[/editline]
Why? Is this i5 better than that?
yeah the i5 will perform a better, and mostly you'll want to upgrade just because it's a little outdated

[editline]11th July 2012[/editline] Also thinking about this... the reason I have to rebuild my other PC is because of a storm. Surge protector didn't help. UPS will definately help though. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101343
The surge protector was probably not rated high enough. Even if they work once it's more like a luck of the draw sort of thing, there's always the possibility even with the best. I think it's something like over 3200 Joules will protect you the most, which a lot of power strips don't give. Either http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812107196 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812107131 will be fine, UPS don't help too much, only with being able to close stuff out or save anything you're working on. The power they store isn't enough to run a computer any longer than 15 minutes.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131826 How about that for a board? Heard a lot of horror stories about MSI's RMA process so I'd rather steer clear of them.
At that price point, you'll be better off with a z77 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 and ASRock is a company that branched off from ASUS, so they make great stuff
At that price point, you'll be better off with a z77 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293 and ASRock is a company that branched off from ASUS, so they make great stuff
So that board is better than what I posted? How is ASRock's BIOS? Asus is kinda flaky in my experience. Mine now keeps failing back to 3 cores and won't see the keyboard. Have to reset the Bios all the time... Also, that board has some iffy reviews...
Oh my god kid, boards aren't perfect. When they make thousands on an assembly line, not every single board will be perfect. It has 4/5 stars on newegg, which is pretty good. But who knows how many were ordered and worked fine, but didn't leave a review. A lot. People don't care about writing reviews. The only reviews you see are broken boards, or computer enthusiasts. That board is a great board, I have the micro atx version. It works really good, and the uefi bios is very easy to use.
Then you're still a kid to him, when you reach 30 you'll be an adult to quikkill.
Yes, I might wake up from my delusional fantasy by then.
don't worry faze, quik is 19
don't worry faze, quik is 19
Way to ruin all the fun :(
The Corsair PSU recommended earlier is shit. Came DOA. Power just flickers on/off. Using the old PSU with no issue.
RMA and get a new one, just a faulty product man
