Yeah, all 9600s in dv5ts run hot but it's supposed to be able to withstand it. It's not very reassuring though that HP didn't keep the option of a 9600 around very long...
True that. But I think everyone would like it to cool a bit more :v:. Even the 75c I get is way over what I like (probably because I'm used to my desktops temperatures). But it's a laptop, so yeah, it's supposed to be like that. Anyone know why rivatuner can't control a laptops graphics card fan? Or know of any software that will let me do so on a laptop :v:.

I don't see why people are elitist's and hate macs? seriously What's wrong with them. They were not made for games they were made for running programs, business and image editing.
i will get a lapop soon from my new school :D
i will get a lapop soon from my new school :D
cool, never heard about a lapop before, what is it like? ;)
I don't see why people are elitist's and hate macs? seriously What's wrong with them. They were not made for games they were made for running programs, business and image editing.
It's people defending their own purchase, just like people blindly hating the 360 or PS3 when they own the other. There are no real negatives to macs, they are expensive but even the 'mac tax' isn't really that much when you take into consideration the build quality and resale value *try getting $350 for a 2003 Windows Based laptop* People seem to think macs are nothing but a trend, but I don't see how that is since they were the originators of the mainstream home PC and regardless of what people want to think have made countless valuable additions to the world of computing since 1978. I don't like the trendy facebook ditz that sits on her macbook at starbucks chatting on about how awesome her fake tan is; I also don't like the trendy "Macs are for intelligent artsy people". You've been seeing quite a lot more of those kinds of people since the release of the ipod and the resurfacing of Apple as a major contender but when it comes down to it, apple makes a good product. I dislike mac elitists, I dislike Linux elitists, I dislike Windows elitists. Blind hate is for childish people defending their purchases. Macs are expensive, but you get what you pay for. A recent study shows that %92 of Laptops sold that are over $1000 are Apple, so %92 of people given the choice will take a mac in the end if they can. Just throwing it out there, the only apple product I myself own at the time is an iphone 3g.

I only continue to buy Macs is because I have used them for most of my life and I can't see myself not owning one, but I am planning on building my first PC for games. My MacBook can handle my gaming needs for now but it can't keep doing it forever. Oddly enough I am typing this to my Windows partition on the Windows 7 RC and I love Windows 7 more than Mac OS X, but I plan on still owning an Apple computer even when I do have a gaming PC.

But yeah, I don't think it'd be consoles since I'm not a fanboy of either, I own both a 360 and PS3 and don't play either lol. I bet it was about cases.
IF I had the money I would buy a Mac Product such as the Pro or the macbook or the 30" Apple Cinema Display :science:, I have been trying to get a old powerbook off ebay for cheap to do iPhone App Designing but havent found one yet.
