I'm running a wide variety of Distros such as CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and some more I can't remember to be honest my personal choice would be CentOS, you just have to play around with them to see what you prefer.

I been running Windows Xp for 3 years on my server and it is usually up 1-2months, it runs voip, ftp, apache and all other shit you want.
It's been perfect! Do i say windows xp is the perfect server os? No god damit i'm a fucking retard for using it 3 years but why the fuck not? It works.
Just take the OS you like the most if not, flip a coin.
