User-Agent strings don't indicate distributions; they just say "Linux".
Highlight my Windows XP logo, it does indicate some distributions. I think I'm the only one on Facepunch with Windows XP Professional x64.
I normally use Windows on this machine due to compatibility, but I try to use Arch as much as possible.

My user-agent string is:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20110327 Firefox/4.0 Iceweasel/4.0
The only OS info there is "Linux x86_64". No distribution info, no version number. (In this case, actually, one could surmise that it's Debian because it says "Iceweasel", and only Debian ships that. But that's specific to Debian, and not a general way to identify distributions from user-agent strings.)
you can still install iceweasel on other distributions though so it's not really a solid point.

But also, some Debian users use other browsers, so it's kind of a dodgy guess...
I think Fedora puts their name into the user agent. FedoraForum.org shows an icon for posts made from Fedora and a Penguin icon for all other distros. [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] As seen here: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=263449 [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] My Fedora machine doesn't say Fedora in the user agent, so I dunno.

I've seen quite a few people on Android.
