Well, that's a pleasant surprise. At first I thought this was the regular kind of 'let me turn your registry into a bloody nightmare' software. But hey, looks like this thing is quite useful. Kudos to the OP.

Go and check the box for Windows Error Reports.
Be amazed.
32,5 gigabytes of junk ready to be deleted. Damn.
god FUCKING damn it. I hadn't realized that it deleted tabs from Firefox. Hurray, all my 36 tabs which were organized in neat little groups gone :(
edit:
protip: if it happened to you; save all your shit using tabcloud (extension) since not even firefox sync backups your shit.
I could backup using the backup method in firefox or something, but it's not cloud so
I would heavily advise not to do this, it can cause problems to your system, and in some extreme cases, corrupt your OS
Unless you really new what you were doing, but you'd still need a reason to do it in the first place (getting rid of a certain registry key that you had to get rid of for some reason)
No it can't. I only detects reg entries that point to invalid data.

I'll usually run it after uninstalling some games or video drivers, finds things the uninstallers leave behind in the registry and I don't run into display driver issues anymore.
CCleaner is such an amazing program (other Piriform products are pretty good too) I always have it and run it every once in a while. The registry cleaner is as safe as they come, it only looks for entries that are safe or as safe as they can be to delete, even then you can back-up the file just in case it happens to be something important, which it shouldn't anyway pretty sure.
Also don't know why you wouldn't use a real-time protection anti-virus, just use Microsoft Security Essentials, that's one of the most well-known ones.
What a coincidence, I opened Facepunch and thought about cleaning up my laptop when it was loading and this pops up in front page.

Be careful. I did this once, and it turned out to be all the Gmod models cache.
Forgot to empty the recycling bin for a while, so that freed up about 65 Gb for me.
wait people use the recycling bin?
I've always done shift+delete

I can't speak for other people but I use the recycle bin for when I'm on the fence about deleting something while cleaning out folders. I only shift+delete files I know I don't want.

Hopefully Defraggler will see an update like this soon.
wait people use the recycling bin?
I've always done shift+delete
you can even disable the recycle bin completely so when you 'delete' something it's the same as shift+delete

Do you really want to start the "Who has the most shit left on their computer dick-waving-contest"?
When my mom got a new computer maybe 2 years ago she let me take her old one so I could do stuff with it and when I used CCleaner it cleared 78gb of stuff, she never cleared her history/cookies or ran Disk Cleanup in the 4 or 5 years she had it as she was worried they would "Mess something up"
My very first cleaning was somewhere around 6-10 gig.
I do remote tech support and CCleaner is part of our tuneup toolkit.
I once cleaned 35 GB off some old man's machine. It's a shame I didn't have time to look through and see what it all was.
wait people use the recycling bin?

I just delete stuff like normal and then end up forgetting that the Recycling Bin even exists for about 6 months.
I turn off "Unused file extensions" on the registry cleaner, as it seems to think game-specific extensions are unused.

It only deletes extensions of files you don't have anymore, and besides, those entries will just be recreated as soon as one exists again. You don't really gain much from the registry cleaner, though I did have a game that didn't uninstall properly which made it impossible to reinstall and play, and running the registry cleaner fixed it.
Ran the analyzis and I pretty much had ~300 MB of data to be cleaned.
I pretty much clean my computer manually every now and then, although I guess it will be a bit faster with CCleaner.

But I still have loads of those files, at one point it would think .vtfs and .bsps were unused when I had all of the source games installed.

Did you uninstall hammer? My last post was just my personal experience, but to be honest I'm not entirely sure how it decides, though I can say I've never had any adverse effects.
Are you saying you dont have a real time antivirus? Thats pretty silly.
I haven't had one for years and haven't gotten much worse than adware.
I haven't had one for years and haven't gotten much worse than adware.
You really should, some ads and sites can be injected with malware even if you know the site well. Facepunch a few years back had a key logger because of an infection. Common sense only takes you so far, so it's nice to have a backup just incase.

...Which you shouldn't have, in the first place.

Buying an antivirus for injected malware like Tyson mentioned is reasonable, but if adware was the only risk, I'd save my cash.
