That's why one of the first things I do is disable the recycle bin.

Which is why minibin owns
adds a little icon to your system tray that lets you empty it, and even shows you how much is in there

Some people don't like any icons on their desktops at all and hide the recycle bin.

Ran it, only 3 gigs to be cleaned, and it's all Google Chrome.
