I am thinking about getting a pair of sennheiser 280 pro's. I had a pair of Bose over ear headphones and the quality was phenominal. Do the 280's come close at all?
Uhh, some shitty advent headset I picked up for £10 because my last headset broke.
It's lasted me surprisingly long, although one of the cables where it connects to the in-line volume control has opened up exposing the wires for about 2mm, and the left side adjustable... adjustment has snapped and doesn't adjust anymore.
Comfort: 9, although I'm used to it, there's no padding on the top so it makes an indent in my scalp :c
Sound Quality: 10, I'm not an audiophile, it works.
Looks: 10, it came with 3 sets of snap on things and one was pink, so I put that on.
Quality: 9, It's not cheapy plastic and I'm pretty rough with it, considering it's only started degrading recently, and I've had it over a year and a half.
Overall: 9.245490843 - It works.

It's an Advent ADE-90NCI01 headset... or something

I like it, the detachable microphone comes in handy and the velvet ear padding feels very nice, as well as the thick velvet cushion arched across the headband. The microphone is of very high quality and the output of the drivers is amazing. There is so much bass and fidelity, and the ability to have working surround sound coupled with the fidelity helps a lot in games where walls are penetrable.
Comfort: 9; it's kind of heavy and I have a small distance between the ear cups and the top of the headset so most of the weight sits on my ears which causes a bit of pain after maybe five or six hours of gaming.
Sound Quality: 10; very, very good. I get called a hacker every time.
Looks: 9; -1 for having the Fatal1ty emblem.
Quality: 10; very heavy duty with some leather parts and also the velvet ear cups.
Overall: 9.5 out of 10
For the price you can't beat it. If you are in need of a headset and you have around $30 to spend, go for this one. You won't regret it.

Fucking 0.
Awesome headphones, but my lack of good care taking, and the little room under my desk led to these things just becoming a huge headache.
What is that cool little box for?
I'm giving my Logitech G35 a 9.75/10. Mic quality is a lot better than my older headsets and the Logitech stand mic. I docked off a point because of the lack of G-key customization, but I added back .75 because I got newegg's three day shipping and got it in 9 hours.

Think it's a headphone amplifier.
My Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 was easily an 8/10 but the fucking things broke after a couple months (right side just died, I have no idea).

Any suggestions of a good headset for people with glasses? It starts to hurt like hell after a few hours.
Steelseries 3H here.
Comfort: 7
Sound quality: 9

Quality: 5
Top arch broke within the first month, so did the microphone. Comfort isn't THAT great, but you can get used to it. Sound quality is superb for the price and they don't look that bad.

Delicious. They look like big candies. Delicious quality.
I have a pair of Behringer HPS3000s
Comfort: 10 - can wear them for hours at a time
Sound quality: 9 - could use a bit more bass
Looks: 2 - ugly as fuck
Quality: 10
I've got some Logitech USB pair that I've had for two years or so. The USB connector is a bit bent and they're a little uncomfortable, but they work perfectly fine. 8/10.
Sennheiser HD800s
Comfort: 10, I can wear them for hours and not even feel them.
Sound Quality: 10, amazing bass and it covers every range perfectly.
Looks: 10, but who cares about this? I don't wear them in public since I'm afraid something will happen to them.
Quality: 10, very sturdy and they don't feel cheap(They sure as hell AREN'T)

No, I didn't pay that. I got them on sale.

Sennheiser HD465's.

They're great, I highly recommend them. They're a bit dated now but I still see a lot of people using them. I once saw three people wearing them during one trip to the trainstation.
Excellent quality, great bass, very comfortable, inexpensive.
My only complaint is they start to get uncomfortable after something like 5 non-stop wear hours but most people won't wear them that long consecutively anyway.
8/10
The 2 sets that i use:
Sennheiser HD 595

Comfort: 10
Sound quality: 8 (Distorts a little on the higher notes)
Looks: 10
Grado SR80
Comfort: 6/10 - Sometimes I can wear these for hours with no problem, other times they will really irritate my ears.
Sound quality: 6.5/10 - Too much emphasis on the treble, bass isn't punchy enough.
Looks: 6/10 - They look cheap and flimsy.

Had these for almost a year now and I am looking to upgrade in a couple months time, getting away from the Grado series.

I've got three pairs of headphones.
Phillips, JVC's and a Sennheiser.
Phillips are now about £15 but were a lot more when I bought them.

They're fucking loud and it's got a six metre cable.
Audio quality - 9/10
General use 9/10
My JVC's weren't to expensive but they're loud and do the job with great audio quality and comfort.
Audio quality - 8/10
General use 7/10
The Sennheisers I bought were ok, but had a £30 price tag attached.
Audio quality is fine, I'd say about 8/10 but they're not too good for long journeys.
General use I'd say 9/10.
I've had 2 Fatal1ty headsets..
The sound is perfect and with sound i mean the bass!!
However both of my headsets died because of the shitty wire :(
And yes i ALWAYS handle my stuff with care so i just don't believe it's my fault.
I don't get it, why do most people only care about bass
I preffer having a perfect balance between bass, mid and treble
must just be a sound engineer thing I guess
I got some LE buds but not sure what type, ill look. There the best quality i have ever heard (Even better than any headset that i have tryed) and cost me about $26 when i was in an airport coming back to england.
They are truly fantastic.
[editline]05:57PM[/editline]
I cant find em, they seem pretty unkown, but if you see some give them a try, you wont be disipointed
i odnt know waht mine are i just know that they are sony and kick ass
your opinion does not matter because you spell like a 7 year old and confuse quality with volume

my hadephones kick ur ass
Sennheiser 515 Gaming
8/10
8 Because of the flimsy bands, and the fact that they broke on one side and shattered on the other.
After several falls though, I have to be more careful.
They always fall from my desk for some reason.
Anyway, planning on getting some HD800, but they're fucking $1000
