Icemat Siberia (with USB soundcard)
Comfort: 10 - I've worn these for an entire day and forgot I was wearing them
Sound qaulity: 8 - the positional sound is great for gaming, and quite decent for music
Looks: 7 - they're supposed to look awesome but I feel like an idiot when I'm wearing them :v:
Quality: 7 - some parts are fragile, but mine are still holding together despite some rough treatment
Sennheiser HD800s
Comfort: 10, I can wear them for hours and not even feel them.
Sound Quality: 10, amazing bass and it covers every range perfectly.
Looks: 10, but who cares about this? I don't wear them in public since I'm afraid something will happen to them.
Quality: 10, very sturdy and they don't feel cheap(They sure as hell AREN'T)

No, I didn't pay that. I got them on sale.
Right, hahaha.
I just got my Grado SR80i's and they totally blew me away.
With my electronic drumkit I was using buds for a while, then I tried them with my sennheiser PC350 gaming headset and I was amazed by the crispness of the hats and the incredible sound offered by the snare.
I got my Grados and it's the same leap up but hard to understand why they sound so much better.
8/10 on the PC 350's sound quality.
10/10 on comfort for them, nothing beats comfortable soft cups.
8/10 on looks, they're rather cumbersome and incorporate ovals in the design (my least favourite shape), but who cares.
10/10 on the Grado sound quality, I've never heard better.
9/10 on comfort, closed cups.
9/10 on looks also, they look fucking awesome (in my opinion).
Also a note about the grados, when using them through iPhone on the bus, people can easily hear what your listening to quite loudly because they're open backed (but fucking awesome regardless).
It also brings a smile to your face when you look at some douche kicking back with skullcandies and you know you have something that is a yummy chocolate bar in a velvet box, compared to there turd wrapped in paper.
8/10
Razer
Crah.. Fuck it its the C ones
I rate my headset broken in half. Sounds good still, ducktape is somewhat uncomfortable, the pencil I'm using a stilt makes it look even stupider. Gets hot. 8/10, it was 40$ :v:. I need a new one though.
I don't get it, why do most people only care about bass
I preffer having a perfect balance between bass, mid and treble
must just be a sound engineer thing I guess
Yeah this, I hate it when people turn tone all the way to bass because they thing it sounds good, when it really doesn't. In my opinion, the equalization rarely needs to be changed by the actual listener because the producers of the song have already chosen exactly how they want the sound equalized, and what sounds best. It might be a sound engineer thing, but I think it is more common, musical knowledge.
Steelseries 3H here.
Comfort: 7
Sound quality: 9
Looks: 8
Quality: 5
Top arch broke within the first month, so did the microphone. Comfort isn't THAT great, but you can get used to it. Sound quality is superb for the price and they don't look that bad.
I got mines for 20 bucks, I do not regret that purchase.
The only issue I have with mines is that I wish I could have gotten the better ones like the 5H. (Was it 5h? or something?)
I rate my headset broken in half. Sounds good still, ducktape is somewhat uncomfortable, the pencil I'm using a stilt makes it look even stupider. Gets hot. 8/10, it was 40$ :v:. I need a new one though.
Mine's too by coincidence, nonetheless it lasted me for a while and is still fucking comfortable even with the tape so 9/10.
Looks: 6/10 - They look cheap and flimsy.
wutte, grado headphones look amazing
if i had to choose a pair of headphones to wear in public i'd choose grado
Steel Series Siberia V1: 9/10
Best headphones I've ever used. When these babies break I'll buy a new pair. It's awesome for gaming, music listening and watching videos!
Pros
- Comfortable, very lightweight
- Excellent sound quality
- Ventilated, can wear them for hours without turning your ears into saunas
- Good microphone quality
Cons
- Clip-on microphone, gotta wear clothing to use it. I tried clipping it on to my nipple, but that hurt like a bitch.
- Not sound isolated
ROCCAT Kave - Solid 5.1 Gaming Headset: 1/10
I tried them for 20 minutes before repackaging it for return. Worst audio quality I've ever heard, not to mention that they were so bulky and tight that I got a headache after 20 minutes.
Wasn't good for music, movies or games. They either suck, or the product I received was damaged.
Pros
- Sound isolated
- LED indicating if the microphone is muted
Cons
- Bad sound quality, sounds like you're inside a tin can
- Crackling sound on higher volumes
- Surround isn't that good
- Sweaty, it's like a rain forest in my ears
2/10
Mostly because if the volume is to high you can hear it two rooms away.

They are quite old, but the sound quality is very good, the only problem is that they aren't all that confortable..
I will give it a 7/10..
I've got a £70 pait or Sony headphones. Epic.
The world could end around you and you wouldn't hear it.
Apple in-ear
Actually really good for the price (considering Apple) but they aren't the comfiest buds I've had. Still a great pair of earphones though.
8/10
Decent. Would recommend them if I had ANY idea what they are.
My gamecom was ok until the ear cushion fell off, 4/10

7/10
The volume control is a pain in the ass to use and it gets slightly unconformable after prolonged use.
I had my Fatal1ty's for well over a year, they were brilliant. My dog ran into my room and the little box that makes the two jack cables one cable pulled apart. So yea.
I have this right now since I'm saving up for a G35.

What do I think?
I think this headset is the worst PIECE OF SHIT Logitech has ever created. I fucking hate this uncomfortable, cheap, horribly built, shitty excuse for a Logitech product headset.
[editline]01:29AM[/editline]
Also bump.

Sennheiser PC 151
Comfort: 9.5
Sound quality: 8.5
Looks: 7
Overall: 9.5 / 10
Cost : $60 (€40)
Pros :
- Blocks out background noise
- Microphone is very loud (I have to set my mic volume at 15% for some apps)
- Fuzzy ear covers
- Cushion on top (cushion is bigger IRL compared to picture)
- Long cord
- Sound adjustment on cord
- Comfortable
- Sound is nice
Cons :
- Gets uncomfortable after long periods of wearing (2-4 hours. Just take it off every once in awhile and you're fine)
- Cord is too long sometimes. Was annoying for the first week or so, but I've gotten used to it. Not that big of a deal.
- Microphone is only on left side. The headset is designed to have it like that, so if you prefer the mic on the right side, too bad :v: .
- Cord is sort of thin. As long as you're careful, it won't be a problem.. But I always get scared I'm gonna trip over the wire and break it.
---
Overall, awesome headset. If you're looking for a good headset, but don't wanna shell out $100, I'd get this.
The sound is still perfect like the day I got it, but the mic has degraded slightly. There's more static than it usually has. It's not terrible, but I imagine it will get worse as I go.
I've had it for a year and a half.
Check out the newegg page for some nice reviews.

I would like some new headphones, what do you recommend? I don't want to spend more than £25. So no ten thousand pound Sennheisers.
koss porta pro
headphone of the year all years

7/10
The sound quality on them unamped is great.
Amped its so-so. Also a piece of the band is cracked now so I am sending it in for warranty.
Sennheiser HD 202's. Really good sound quality and I can wear them without getting ear pains like I get with some other headphones.
Comfort: 9
Sound Quality: 9
Looks: 10
Overall: 9

Koss PortaPro
Comfort: 7 - My head is balding because of the headband
Sound Quality: 9
Looks: 5 (10 if you'd love the retro look)
Overall: 8.5
They're funny looking, but the bass is awesome. The sound quality is top notch.
I've also got a Sennheiser MX-400 as my backup. It's pretty decent for 3 dollars.
Comfort: 5 - The foam cushions broke when I tried to put it on)
Sound Quality: 6 - But decent for it's amazing price
Looks: 7 - Pretty much the most average looking piece you'd find
Overall: 6.5 - For 3 dollar, it's worth it.
Oh yeah, forgot about the iPhone earbuds:
Comfort: 7
Sound Quality: -3 - The sound also leaks outside the buds
Looks: 0
Usability: -10 - Who the fuck thought of only having ONE fucking button on the damn thing, first the mouse, then a fucking pair of earbuds. Apple you fucker. Volume controls are missing.
Overall: 0 - Fucking shit
