Holy shit at FP tab memory usage :geno:
Firefox pissed me off so much with the RAM usage, switched to Chrome and it's really good. The Bookmarks bar took a while to get used to just like when I switched from IE to Firefox.
I'd go with Chrome over Opera after using both though.

It runs each tab as a separate process so if one crashes the rest stay up. (usually)

I use chrome, because it's fast, but mainly because I do not believe that a browser's UI should take up HALF MY FUCKING SCREEN. (/caps)

Why not hide the menu bar?
I prefer Lynx
Fail. The list was going chronologically, not in terms of features.
Anyways, to continue this trend:

WorldWideWeb.
Internet Explorer 8 :v:
(Seriously, not having tried Opera, I still think it's the most "polished" browsing experience out of them, with Chrome coming in at a close second with it's awesomely perfect rendering.)

AVG plugin slows everything down.
Disable it now.
Why not hide the menu bar?
because I use it to access clear private data, settings, addons, etc?
Well if you can't use Firefox, then I suggest using Chrome. It's lightweigth and fast.
Chrome
I'll probably get boxes for not just saying "Chrome", but you could also give Flock a go. I've been using it for a while now, it's pretty good.
Built off of firefox, but I chose it because firefox refuses to save my passwords! Because they are so similar switching from FF to this is very easy ;) And you never know, it might fix your problem.
Flock the revolutionary browser = FF Code + A few Add-Ons
I know, but firefox flat out refuses to save my passwords.
Flock, however, does.
I'm not bashing firefox, I love it! It's just that Flock works better for me, for some reason. They're so similar it's not a problem ;)
Chrooooome!
Here's a guide to make FF use less memory if that is all you guys are not using FF because of.

Wow. Whoever wrote that is :downs:
"It leaks memory. To fix, lower the cache capacity!"
Dear god.... does no one understand that a cache isn't a leak?!
