TBH, the old PCI x-fi xtrememusic cards are nice enough, they're everywhere too. Always finding them in old dell dimensions.
My FiiO's pretty nice for the price I got it at.
I found that the Xi-Fi cards were on the downside of Creative's monopoly. Like, they started taking out little features which were either really handy or were there for old, old compatibility reasons. Then they started doing really gamer and audiophile things like expressing that they used premium capacitors or replaceable op-amps.

My ST3000DM001 (I know at least Brt knows my pain) finally reallocated some of those pending sectors, now the sweating and frequent checking begins to see if I can make it to at least black friday to get a replacement
So I was getting ready to set up my networking, and I can't find my Unifi AP Pro anywhere. But when digging through my stuff I found a normal UAP I didn't know I had?? I'm so confused. Why does this Ubiquiti shit just appear in my boxes.
Or branding things with "Fatal1ty"
but aesthetics! i mean look at this ugly shit. if you're using a sound card looking like this, you might as well hold a sign that says "im beta as fuck pls ignore me" [t]https://mans.io/images/1080897/1187680.jpg[/t] whereas if you use a sound card like this, all the bitches know you're a pro gamer and you'll drown in pussy in no time [t]http://d287ku8w5owj51.cloudfront.net/images/products/large/pdt_20886.png.ashx?width=450&height=350[/t]

EMI is one of the most annoying things you can get in your audio. Unrelated, countless engineers were involved to get me to this point. ...too bad I need more fucking engineering to get this bitch mounted. Does anybody know where I can order replacement brackets and not entire replacement cooling kits? But overall, my christmas list is now down to some better ram, a few SSD's and a gameport cable. It took me far too long to realize what those 4 cards were
What are they?
7950GX2's
Man why did you have to ruin the fun This would've been a great single question trivia game
I can't wait to get XP running on this thing. Four physical cores and 1/2 the power consumption of one hyperthreaded Gallatin core.
Dual PCB graphics cards? What the fuck.
Dual PCB graphics cards? What the fuck.
7950GX2's are literally two video cards with an internal SLI header. So connecting two GX2's in SLI means you're actually going form 2-way to 4-way SLI. There's something like $1200 in video alone in here.

You should be able to run Bioshock at 60 FPS on 1280x1024 with that beast there.
i know so we're looking at what, 900 years until you get a 1070?
There's a 570 in the mac pro. Also, to commit a crime against humanity this is gonna be an XP box. No point for cards that support DX11 or even 12 when I can't even do 10.
...too bad I need more fucking engineering to get this bitch mounted. Does anybody know where I can order replacement brackets and not entire replacement cooling kits?
What exactly do you need? I thought those brackets work all the way back to socket 775.
What exactly do you need? They can usually sell you a mounting bracket directly.
So what do you have to do to enable the "have a shit day" message. [t]https://helifreak.duckdns.org/image/20161031034543053.png[/t] [t]https://helifreak.duckdns.org/image/20161031034622776.png[/t] I got nothing.

I might do a retro build with one because I can find the blocks for like $15.
