I use a 32" display at 1360x768...
How do you live?
That sounds like me a few years ago with my 32" TV I used as a monitor. Now I'm over here with a 13" 2560 x 1600 and I don't know how to feel about not being able to see pixels.
Some 9volt "minibrick" batteries are just six AAAA Cells in a fancy packaging. Others are stacked rectangular "button cell" batteries. Duracell 9volts are six AAAA's in a fancy packaging last time I checked (around 2 years ago) [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] Supposedly Energizers too, but bear in mind I'm talking about Alkaline batteries.
Fuck it I just went for another two AAAA's online. Would it be possible to just crack one of those batteries open and be done with it otherwise?
Speaking of displays, this looks pretty neat. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1677563729/the-spontaneous-pop-up-display-spud?ref=profile_created

I've been trapped at a client with literally nothing to do but watch this vendor bumble around with his own equipment for the last 3 hours. Shoot me please. There's zero reason for me to be here. [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] And to make it worse it's about phone systems. The bane of my existence.
So we're now in our courtesy months with comcast, I plan on using as much data as possible. Then signing up. I'm basically using rclone to download like 1TB at a time from my backups off ACD to an empty drive, deleting it and restarting. Probably makes me an asshole, but if I have to pay, I'm going to use it to be as petty as possible.

Well lets see how the free world looks at the end of tonight. I wonder if the outcome will effect hardware prices :v:
So I've learned a valuable lesson: Never cheap out on something as paltry as SATA cables. When I built my rig 3 years ago I bought a pack of like 12 because they were cheap. I've gone through every single one of them because after a few months I start getting I/O errors.

I really cannot express just how much I want this to be over already.
I don't think I've ever had to purchase SATA cables separately, I've always just found them in drawers and with motherboards.

Can't worry about shit when you're worrying about shit.
who even needs presidents when you have video games?
Literally playing Destiny right now to try and escape this shit.
I've gotten banned from two facebook accounts in the past hour. Mint. And all because of politics.
Literally playing Destiny right now to try and escape this shit.
There's a teletype machine upstairs. From time to time it rings and it prints off the current vote information.
In case of the Xperia, definitely unless you're experience in phone repair. The Z2 is a nightmare to work on. It really depends on the phone if that's worth it. My old Lumia 1020 was a dream to work on for example. (Look up a disassembly, you'll see what I mean)
Oh wow, my Z3C was way less complicated than the Z2, it was just back panel, sub-frame, LCD assembly connector, then the screen comes off
My Nexus 5 has been pretty slow lately, and I wish I had a better camera. I don't really feel convinced by any phone that's currently out though, so I'll just see how long I can use this thing before the suicidal thoughts kick in.
I've gotten banned from two facebook accounts in the past hour. Mint. And all because of politics.
....what?
People reported me like crazy on my main account. I made a second one and got that banned for adding my entire main accounts friends list within 5 minutes :v:
Now that everything has changed... Can we get AmigaOS unbanned? v:v:v
I'm taking the advice of Call of Duty and going to space.
I don't think I've ever had to purchase SATA cables separately, I've always just found them in drawers and with motherboards.
I sort of have the same problem, except I have 30 IDE cables and 10 floppy cables. But I don't have any extra SATA cables, despite only owning one PC that is IDE only.
And ultimately it's just a projector. This serves nothing but a gimmick to be honest
I find it pretty neat, I've always wanted to bring my monitors around but they are big and annoying to lug around in your luggage so a protector screen like this seems neat.
so the orange bastard did it...
I'm taking the advice of Call of Duty and going to space.
One step forward, two steps back [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] Can us Americans get immunity from PUI bans for the next week or so? [editline]8th November 2016[/editline] Actually make that for the next 4 to 8 years
