I went tech free this black Friday besides a shitty speaker bar and wireless small sub that will do exactly what I want. Now I did spend like $800 on gun parts...
no last time he only bought 4tb drives
[t]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/i1ObgE2Z5zI/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
Literally just went around freezing things for like 2 hours before I handled all of the bombs on that game... Shit now I want to replay it for the 300th time.

ok so it seems that plex was downscaling the 4k video, tried connecting via hdmi now.. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/muvwpk.webm[/vid] holy fuck
Bought Overwatch while it is on sale, oh shit it runs at more than 30 fps on my laptop which has Intel HD Graphics 620 :excited: At 720p, lowest settings but no render scale, so PS3 quality I guess, but IMO it is acceptable when I just want to play a game on my laptop.
Highly pleased with this Macbook. Handles games pretty well so far at low-medium settings. I can sit here and play Civ V at work all night and barely hear the fan.

Fuck that playthrough took forever, but facing off against 40 Metal Gear Rays was totally worth it.
ISP came and gave us a new router today. Come home expecting to need to reset all my settings. Turns out that aside from the wireless name the rest of the config had all been transferred over....
I may have bought twelve 8TB hard drives
If you're buying the externals, they apparently aren't that great shucked due to different firmware. But good luck.
So since iDRAC is a separate module that works independent of the OS, if I want to look at that I don't have to shut the server down right (which would kinda defeat the point I think)? 3 hours into a ~15 hour rsync clone so I don't want to fuck anything up accidentally.
If you're buying the externals, they apparently aren't that great shucked due to different firmware. But good luck.
Isn't it possible to reflash them with different firmware?
Something I was thinking of buying is way cheaper on Amazon USA than it is on Amazon Canada. Even if I pay the duties and conversion fees, it's still cheaper to buy from Amazon USA and ship it over here..
[t]http://i.imgur.com/vZVVFgK.png[/t] How do I fix this? I've downloaded the dll file itself and downloaded the DirectX End-User thingy from MS, and neither seemed to work. I was also getting an error about 1_7, but the DriectX download managed to fix that.
Please do tell us more about this.
My previous DAC/AMP combo's usb port fell off, and i found two good cheap alternatives, but they were not available anywhere. I needed an dac/amp ASAP, and i found the Aune S16, 5 stars everywhere, nobody said anything bad about it, and it was the only one i could've bought in the near future.
anyone know how to fix this? it doesnt show the proper way [editline]26th November 2016[/editline] now its even more fucked...
Set the view to Tiles. You don't get the bars if you set it to any size icons.
Downloading single DLL files is asking for trouble.
Never ran into issues doing so in the past.
tfw you realize windows set your integrated gpu as the default one :goodjob:
I gave in and got a Gigabyte WF2OC GTX 1070 during the Black Friday sales on Newegg. I got the free shipping and it was still here next day :v: the benefits of living near a Newegg facility I guess. Would anyone say there's a bottleneck in my system yet? I'm mulling over building a new PC but I'm thinking maybe I should wait another year? Specs: ASRock Z77 Pro3 Intel Core i5-3570k (OC @ 4.0GHz, 6MB L3) 16GB (4x2, 8x1) DDR3 RAM GTX 1070 Sound Blaster Z

I would definitely wait for Intel's new gen of processors before building a new PC.
The sound....
I used to work at a place that did that. Imagine hundreds of hard drives being shredded at a time. [editline]26th November 2016[/editline] Ordered an evga 1070 and a new psu. Probably going to get a new mobo and processor eventually too.
Received the EVGA 1070 VRM cooling mod for my 1070. Was pretty painless, but kind of impressive that they forgot to cool an entire line of chips when I noticed what wasn't being cooled.

The original ACX cooler for the 900 series didn't cool everything.
Tax returns coming in on Tuesday. Should I buy an SSD? Rate literally anything to vote yes. OK, you guys pressured me into it, I'll buy an SSD.
My disagree is a yes.
Buy a tape backup drive instead
