Welcome to Denver, fun things to do include: getting in a fistfight with a hobo, getting diarrhea from Casa Bonita, and drinking shitty craft beer and pretending it's good.
Sounds like everywhere I've lived. Unfortunately for me I hate IPA's
[editline]7th September 2016[/editline]
Well besides Missishitty. We don't get craft beers there, just good ol' Coors, 'America, and america lite
alcohol is gross
Beer is gross anyway
I like a good mixed drink.
Rye whiskey or bust
I like a good mixed drink.
are you a gril
Anything that tastes like ass is terrible.
Anything that tastes like ass is terrible.
Except actual ass. That's pretty not terrible depending on the ass.
Alcohol also leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth, like someone added a bittering chemical to a can of pepper spray and aimed it right into my mouth
Beer is gross anyway

Cocktails for life.
I can even taste it through mixed drinks so that doesn't help
Mix drinks are good. My go to would be rum and coke.
are you a gril
No, I just happen to not hate myself. I enjoy something that tastes good, not vaguely bread-y piss.

Yeah, I was never a fan of drinking something that tastes bad to me, and paying for it at bar prices.
Cider is pretty good.

It's ok we understand why you haven't been able to taste quality beer in your life, it's not really your fault
Eh, I've had supposed 'good' foreign beers alongside a few domestic beers and I just haven't enjoyed any of them. I don't pick up any of the taste subtleties, I guess.
The other problem is I'd rather drink to get drunk, I barely get a buzz off a couple cans of beer. It's cheaper for me to just buy vodka and mix it with stuff :v:
Cider is pretty good.
Yessss.
I wasn't sure about telling you this, but there's also the whole "family history of alcoholism" I have to worry about and I'd rather avoid that trap if I can

Well I'm sorry your whole family can't hold their shit but that means fuckall for the rest of us.
i wish i could get drunk
i get physically drunk, but not mentally drunk
so it's like all the shit of getting drunk, without any of the benefits

There's a lot of better alternatives anyway.

I have a similar problem, honestly. I get the uncoordinated feeling, but I don't usually change that much in personality - which I guess is for the best, seeing as when I get mad I get mad.
Cider is pretty good.
Cider was one of the first alcoholic drinks I actually enjoyed drinking.

Cider is fantastic and america was founded on it. Glad we're finally getting back to it.
I don't drink much because I absolutely hate the taste of beer and that's like 80% of what's available. I'll drink just about any fruit alcohol and I'll try most mixed drinks, but beer is just not my thing at all.
The good thing about not drinking much is that when I do drink, I get drunk fast. I had two Smirnoff Ices on Sunday and that was about my limit. I'm ridiculously cheap to get wasted.

Honestly, Cider is pretty much available wherever beer is, it's always a great go to option when there's nothing else there
The only thing alcohol is good for is cleaning thermal paste.

Weirdly, a lot of places don't have it, and those that do often only have one.
And that's not even getting into just house parties, where people get three different types of beer and nothing else.

That's weird. It's pretty much ubiquitous here.

I've started to see myself growing a bit of a tolerance for cider which means one 500mL can can't get me pretty buzzed, which sucks because it just means that I want to drink more. Instead, I started to make my own mix of rum and coke and find out which amount works for me and it was way cheaper than buying the same amount of cider.
Oh and the prices of alcohol in Ontario, Canada are dumb and stupid. After visiting USA, the alcohol here costs almost twice as much, even after the currency conversion.
i like root beer
I like all sorts of alcohol.
Wine, beer (except shit beer like bud light or rolling rock), most liquor, any mixed drinks that arent sickeningly sweet or have gross shit in them, mead, cider, ect.
Im working on a big ol 1.75L jug of kraken spiced run currently, and its so strong, but not a shitty burn strong, like a really hearty good strong. I also made a jug of mead last year and its still sitting in my closet. gets better tasting every time I try it.

Drinks in Oslo were insane.
Drinks in Oslo were insane.
Drink prices, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic were fucking insane when I was in Vienna. I thought they were bad in Australia. I want US (read: Not California) drink prices everywhere. And unlimited refills. That is the best invention ever.
