Sure there are tons routers that look like this, but that's not how the ac5300 looks like.
Those eight antenna placement/design is making it stand out from all the other routers and makes people instantly recognize the brand.

I pretty much have to take a Benadryl every time I want to go to sleep at a reasonable hour. I don't know why, I can get an hour of sleep or 12 or anything in between, but my body just does not want to sleep before midnight.

I seem to have this issue too, or I sleep in the evening because I feel really tired, then I wake up at night and don't want to sleep more.

Yeah even if I take a Benadryl I'll wake up at 3 in the morning completely wide awake. It's a bit ridiculous.
I think I'm needing a more comfortable bed or something.
I just had to give the news to a student that the university tech support trashed their laptop.
He dropped it off to be dusted and when he got it back the power button was dead and so was the trackpad. He calls up support who say "Not my problem lol" and hang up.
I open the laptop and none of the bezel cables are plugged in so reconnecting that bullshit brought back the power button but the trackpad is still flat. It's not being powered.
I feel sad he paid $30 to get it worked on.
This is why we don't work on non-college owned devices at my school. The most we can do if somebody comes in with their own device is make personal suggestions (eg. "Personally, I would recommend doing x") so the college doesn't take any responsibility.

Half of it is probably not Alphabet's fault though. A lot of video creators do put as many tags as possible to make sure their videos get spotted by YouTube's algorithm.
Whoever made that Hearthstone video probably loaded it with a bunch of false tags to spread the video to as many people as possibly. It is most likely the video creator abusing the system, I just wish YouTube published tags used in the description like they previously did.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/fRbO4Cp.png[/img_thumb]
I just put all those tags on a video of mine. If someone watches a Donald Trump video and happens to also watch Overwatch videos, I could have a chance of getting a view because I have a Trump tag. It's a stupid system, and I swear YouTubers make the stupidest tags that are not even related to the video just to farm those views.

They should do it how tumblr does it - you can put as many tags as you want, but only the first five actually count.

What's the latest & greatest way to unblock Netflix content these days? A free solution would be the best but I have a feeling no one offers that. Smartflix was pretty cool but these guys are down. Anyone stepped in for them yet?
[editline]8th September 2016[/editline]
I assume most content is on the US Netflix so I suppose I could just rent a VPS. At least it'll never get blocked that way.

I'm with Linode and OVH for VPSes right now. Linode has a bandwidth cap (a 3TB bandwidth cap but still a bandwidth cap), and OVH's only North American datacenter is in Quebec, but if those aren't problems I'd highly recommend.
I hear good things about Vultr, too.

I'd prefer something even cheaper as it's gonna be solely used to watch Netflix. The cheapest I've found is 15$/annual. Though I don't know, I think one of those SmartDNS' services might suit me better but I don't know if any of them work anymore. Looking through Searchflix, Netflix's library is soo fragmented. Would be easier to have a service where I could switch through any country but VPN's are expensive.

Is that how its suppost to work or that I'm the only guy who watches this stuff? :(

Fuuuuck, some parts of this job kills me. We're upgrading displays in the field to LED so we're getting in a ton of 42" Panasonic 1080p Plasma panels and working or not, they are all getting recycled.
And no, we can't drag one or two out. ;_;
No idea why everyone is getting so angry/upset about the iPhone jack thing, if you don't like it just don't buy the phone or get a 6S instead or something? Can't stand all the entitled people complaining about Apple's business decisions when they aren't exactly being forced to buy the phone or whatever

To me it's nothing new. I remember the handful of phones that tried saying "just use the adapter lol" about 10-12 years ago. My HTC G1 was the same way. NO headphone hack and instead a proprietary-ish (it was backwards compatible with standard USB) connector that broke out into a bunch of different things.

Now mind you all those manufacturers have sense stopped doing this because it simply wasn't working for them but how Apple can think they can do it now and not piss everyone who isn't a snob off I don't fucking know. Could they of at least thought to use the 2.5mm jack? Those have a component footprint that's half the size.

The amount of people that would probably break that connector off in their phone would be pretty high.
It's better than a fucking break-out dongle, plus I know an assload of phones from the late 90's to the early 00's that used a 2.5mm jack for handsfree sets.

Any change no matter how small is going to bring resistance of some sort, but w/e.
I'm pretty sure if the price of the AirPods was reduced significantly this wouldn't even be as much of an issue

This went very well. I'm now waiting for my interview at a telemarketing firm. I'm putting my fingers in ALL the pies.
In a way I'm almost more pissed off that they're still using the lightning connector now that USB-C is out.

That's just the thing, it wouldn't be so bad if they weren't locking people into Bluetooth headphones (still clunky and not quite as convenient as standard 3.5mm headphones) or Lightning, which is a proprietary connector.
I mean fuck the new MacBook has USB-C and it works just fine.
