LMAO, someone actually is trying to argue against 3,5mm jacks ITT. Fuck yeah proprietary single port connections! Bring back the good old times when we all had to buy 5 different cables for every phone generation to:
Charge
Connect to USB/Serial
Use Accessories
Charge Accessories
Listen to Audio

ooohh yeeeeah baby!
Laptops should have at least 8 USB ports!
I didn't realize Apple finally dropped the 16gb model and adopted big-little for the iphone 7. Welcome to 2014.
Holy shit I got a 1440p144hz monitor and the refresh rate is the best thing ever. Everything is so smooth, my 60hz secondary looks like 30 in comparison. If I had a choice between 1440p60 and 1080p144 I'd go for the refresh rate after using this monitor, it has a giant effect on the usage experience.

wow, this charger almost held up for a whole year, it's by far a new record
it's been kinda sloppy for the past few months though, with it disconnecting when you wiggle it
What are you doing to your cables to break them? Had mine for a year and it looks and works like new. Throw mine on the floor every morning so I can go scan the QR code to turn my alarm off so it's not exactly living a life of luxury.
I write long ass emails, I wonder if anyone hates me for them yet.

The one I use in bed usually breaks after a while. They just don't like being twisted all the time.

The real question is if you mix top and bottom posting.
If you do, you deserve to be shot. Bottom posting is bad enough without mix and match.

Bose Quietcomfort 20
Best pair of earbuds I've had, and it's well worth the investment for its hefty pricetag.

Do you really think someone who had $9 earbuds is gonna buy a pair of $300 USD ones?
Sennheiser has (or used to have) bang-for-the-buck in-ear earbuds.

Xiamo Piston III's are pretty good if you don't want to spend $300 on placebo. The manual is in Chinese so you are out of luck if you can't figure out which ear L & R go in.

I bought some JBLs from Office Depot for like $30 that have served me well. Only if you like IEMs though.

I use a Type-A to Type-C cable for my Nexus 6P in bed, and never had any issues for the past six months. Same with a cheapy $15 MicroUSB cable when I had my Zenfone 2.
Maybe you should get a A-A extension cable, give more slack to the cable.
rip logitech g500. Sens lights are flashing and it won't work anymore, though strangely clicking still works. (restarted, updated drivers, other computers, etc. still not working)

I didn't really want to get a new mouse, but I've heard so many good things about zowie's I ordered one (FK1). Hopefully it will last longer than this one. I wanted this to last a very long time.

I don't. When quoting, I usually do bottom posting but for the recent emails, it wasn't quoted. It was just me asking more questions that are mostly follow up questions to the previous email response.

I'm also on this train, since the faithful Klipschs I've had for years are in a sorry state.
I'm between the AKG Y20U, Panasonic Ergofit (wirecutter recs) and a whole bunch of chinese ones like the various Xiaomi/KZ/Rock models. I might just start collecting the things, 'cause I'll never find something as pretty as the Shure SE215s in my pricerange.
Who'd garry piss off now

$15 is not a cheap micro-usb cable
I use $3 six foot ones from monoprice and they're surprisingly high quality and long lasting

I have the Rock Zircon which I got for 10 bucks and they are amazing, some cheap eBay foam tips made them sound even better. I also have some cheaper KZ earbuds but those arent as great as the Rocks.
Been scouring ebay for cheap used drives which have even just a short return policy. Got a 3TB Green which was basically brand new for 40 bucks. 1.3cents per gb. 2 cents per gb is my limit for used stuff though. It's out of warranty and looks like it was shucked out of a MyBook, but only has 71days spinning. That's practically nothing. Running a full "initialization" surface test in HDSentinel which should force weak sectors to fully go bad if they are going to.
Been trying to find specifically slow spinning drives for powersavings.
I just found out that I can actually use Facepunch with a PowerMac G5 pretty well
Runs smoothly for an 11 year old computer

P sure you can still flash greens to red firmware to get rid of the aggressive head parking. Since its out of warranty you should do that.
