I mean, if it's trash anyways, it can't hurt to try wet pressing it slowly with oil. Clean it off with dawn and call it a day. If it works, it works. If it explodes, it explodes.
Think of it more like you're about to put my head under a drill press.
You kill me and I'll haunt you and your children.

If I mess up, I'll just straighten out your [del]teeth[/del] pins with a credit card.
NBD.

I don't know where these irrational fears come from, I've drilled through bathroom tiles without much regard and had no problems whatsoever. Just make sure to crack the surface first and maybe pre-drill if you're paranoid.
You also need to be using some damn good drill bits, ceramic is hard as fuck

I actually wanna get an i386 and do this now, fuck

Normal masonry bit did the job just fine.
I really wouldn't worry about the bootloop issue. It's extremely rare. The G4 is a great phone; go for it.
My brother got hit by it. Sent to LG a few days after his warranty ran out and they sent back a brand new G5 free of charge.
Wish I had a proper raid card and one of those 8bay Icydocks right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167414&cm_re=SSDSC2BA800G301-_-20-167-414-_-Product
800GB refurb intel drive. Enterprise grade for 200 bucks. Throw a 2yr Newegg warranty on them for not much more. You got a drive that performs better than cheap TLC drives, and can take a ton of a beating. A new drive has a specification of 15PB of endurance.
Eight of em in RAID10 would make an insane editing array for 4k.
I wish I bought two of those SSD's when it was offered. They go for like 2k new and sold out fast.
So the Mafia III Specs got revealed, look pretty reasonable but I worry my i5 2400 will no longer cut it and if so no amount of GPU power will fix it.
lmao I just emailed like 3 people in Jacksonville on Craigslist that they should probably take their 970 serials down with the settlement going on
I got a PocketCHIP finally, yay. Guess what I'm posting from!

I got my 730 for half off, a step below those, and it's great. It's got like a 7 year 50gb per day warranty

I'm still getting Facebook ads in fucking Norwegian and Swedish
Man, the inventory system we use at work is horrible.
It'll fail with an error if you try to scan anything into a pallet (or a list of items in a box) that's already in another pallet. However, if you scan duplicates in the same pallet it'll only silently fuck up. You'll get dupes in the pallet and then the inventory management system will show 57 in the pallet instead of 56 without showing the duplicates.
I get that I just need to pay more attention when shoving 60 iMacs into a gaylord but fucking hell this system pisses me off.
Heh I don't miss gaylords. Now I just stack shit directly on the pallet.
Heh I don't miss gaylords. Now I just stack shit directly on the pallet.
Sadly, when testing apple computers I can't do that :v: gotta shove shit into gaylords and be careful. We sell bulk used/recycled iMacs (and Macbooks and other stuff too, Apple is just 'my' job)
My last job was at an e waste recycling center where I tested shit so we could resell it. It was cool, but the pay was shit and it wasn't going anywhere. Now I stack boxes of food on pallets for almost twice the pay.

That's my current job, I work at an e-waste place where I test computers (mostly apple computers even though I can't stand anything Apple does)
Funnily enough, a former coworker did the exact same thing you said you did... He stacks fruit.
Your name isn't Josh, is it? :v:
I do work with a couple Josh's but we don't have any fruit in our building. All "dry" goods, juices, sodas, chilled and frozen.

Heh. Unless you lived in Rochester the chances of that are slim as fuck anyway.
I think we have a warehouse out there. :v:
[editline]12th September 2016[/editline]
Nevermind it's in Montgomery, NY. Like 4 hours from Rochester.
Still, nice to see someone knows my pain of being an underpaid warehouse worker for an e-waste recycling company :v:
[editline]12th September 2016[/editline]
It is nice to see all the cool shit that goes through here, though. Vintage computers (we get IBM 5150s all the time!), lab equipment, speaker systems, rack servers, Sun systems, etc
Oh yeah, cool shit came through all the time. An original Atari came through once, with all the cables and Controllers and games. Some dumbass cut it up and trashed it.

We got a full Atari 520ST system once, worked beautifully. Just needed to be cleaned up a bit. :v:

I can agree that when you know someone who does recycling, you've basically found your dealer.

My old boss fucking pampers me with the shit I bring home. He gave me a pair of 8800GTX's because he knew if he sold them they'd be back with thermal issues in a few months.

When I go to Vancouver there's people who can spot my vehicle anywhere in town because of the antenna and that tire cover.

You have a fucking forklift in your garage?
Move the fuck over, I'm coming up there
Standing forklifts are miserable to use. I miss my old JCB 506c

lmao I wish I had a garage that big.
