Get new job because dogs.
1: Need job to afford rent, need rent to afford place for doggos, no time for doggos because job. GOTO 1
The only pet I'll ever own is a carnivorous plant. Buy a sundew when I move into this apartment.
Get new job because dogs.
If you live alone and work full time or live with somebody else and you both work simultaneous hours, don't get a dog. Dogs are great but a huge responsibility.
If you live alone and work full time or live with somebody else and you both work simultaneous hours, don't get a dog. Dogs are great but a huge responsibility.
Can I get you? Are you house trained?
If you live alone and work full time or live with somebody else and you both work simultaneous hours, don't get a dog. Dogs are great but a huge responsibility.
I work full time and am able to take care of my dog. But I also have a dog walker who comes by in the afternoon and my dog for a 15 minute walk.
Both me and my brother work swing shift 4 days a week. 4 days a week we don't exist outside of work. My apartment complex also charges monthly rent for dogs. :\
if job then no dog else buy dog
I also live in a 4th floor apartment and I am a firm believer that a dog needs a yard. Sure I can go downstairs but I'm far too out of shape to do that constantly.
if job then no dog else buy dog
but how do you afford a dog with no job
but how do you afford a dog with no job
How can you stomach a job with no dog at home? [editline]21st September 2016[/editline] It's a catch 22
If you can't take care of a kid, you can't take care of a dog.
I also live in a 4th floor apartment and I am a firm believer that a dog needs a yard. He's more of a couch potato than a dog.
Been having nothing but technical difficulties for 48 hours straight now. fuck this gay earth
If you can't take care of a kid, you can't take care of a dog.
A child requires substantially more care and attention than a dog. This isn't a very accurate comparison.
A child requires substantially more care and attention than a dog to be honest. This isn't a very accurate comparison
Yeah but it's not as socially acceptable to hit your dog...
Yeah but it's not as socially acceptable to hit your dog...
yeah but it's even less socially acceptable to sell your child for the chinese dog eating festival...
With my current job, I'd consider a cat. 10+ hour shifts are the norm. Ah hell. Fish would probably be a better idea with my schedule.
yeah but it's even less socially acceptable to sell your child for the chinese dog eating festival...
I'm offended.
I'm offended.
but it's a real thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lychee_and_Dog_Meat_Festival
but it's a real thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lychee_and_Dog_Meat_Festival
Still offended but not surprised.
With my current job, I'd consider a cat. 10+ hour shifts are the norm. Ah hell. Fish would probably be a better idea with my schedule.
I'm considering a pet hermit crab. I managed to not kill a pet tree for three years now so I think I'm ready to move up.
I'm considering a pet hermit crab. I managed to not kill a pet tree for three years now so I think I'm ready to move up.
I'm telling you, carnivorous plant is the next step. It's a plant that you have to make sure is getting enough food.
hey linux people, how do I grep a running process's output? I've got a program that will output data live to the console every so often, and I only want to display lines with a certain string? Just piping the output raw to grep with a filter doesn't give me any output whatsoever. I'm pretty sure I need to do something more to get this to work properly.
dude wtf i'm calling the police on you for rock negligence
Update: the rock is fine.
I'm telling you, carnivorous plant is the next step. It's a plant that you have to make sure is getting enough food.
A hermit crab is basically a carnivorous plant that needs less water. I think I can handle it.
