The Philadelphia International Airport just gave my school over 200 computers that used to be in the TSA checkpoint. Every programming student will be able to have 3 of these. :vs:
Given where they're from, the whole public nature and everything of airports, and this is the TSA and we know what they get up to... Be sure to clean the fuck out of them.
thanks you too [t]http://i.imgur.com/yNxnbg2.jpg?1[/t]
ye, I know [t]http://i.imgur.com/6LygCpZ.jpg[/t]

[editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] Also 175 laptops, so I have a feeling a good chunk of them were office computers and not the ones that run the scanners [editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] TSA better fucking give these up before the shutdown in 8 days…
That dog is adorable. I'll take 20
How many dogs do you have? Didn't you adopt like 4 other puppies that other day? [editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] I think my dog wants to be a philosopher [t]http://i.imgur.com/eCqjlvD.jpg[/t]
nice updog
Uh, i just tried the CrystalDiskInfo, i havn't had any issue with the HDD, but it says Caution, is it time to replace it?
I'd be tempted to throw HD Tune at it and do a full block check (this will take hours). It could be smart overreacting (notice the values haven't changed yet its triggered)
Error Scan? The HDD is 7 years old now
Does OVH send you the root VPS OS password in an email? I'm trying to set up a VPS for my idiot friend who has no idea how Linux works (in a lab, he wrote /etc/passwd phonetically as etsipassword) but I can't exactly do much if I can't log in.

[editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/xbhxgj.mp4[/vid] It keeps doing this. Fucking Corsair.
Why would your friend need a VPS when he has no clue about linux tho?
It's for a senior project, I shouldn't be doing it for him but I'm too nice... or too stupid, one of the two.
nice updog
What's "updog?"
[vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/xbhxgj.mp4[/vid] It keeps doing this. Fucking Corsair.
I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a dying fan
It's for a senior project, I shouldn't be doing it for him but I'm too nice... or too stupid, one of the two.
What school are you going to and would you recommend it? I should finally finish my degree while I'm here.
South Korea has some content for us: In 1999, the government passed a law requiring all online commerce be done via Internet Explorer and ActiveX. You know, for security reasons.
I wonder if the law is still in effect..
Have to use IE7 at work, its fucking horrible. It actually boosts my productivity (apart from the fact that we have an insane filter) since I don't want to use the internet because of it [sp]at least its not IE6[/sp]
I wonder if the law is still in effect..
Paypal doesn't use ActiveX and you can't lower fees in a region if you aren't operating there.
What school are you going to and would you recommend it? I should finally finish my degree while I'm here.
CU Denver and avoid like the plague. I consistently correct my teachers. MSU Denver might be better.
Our records indicate that you have an MSDN Azure subscription that uses the entitlement that was provided to Microsoft FTEs and interns. These subscriptions will no longer be entitled to the MSDN benefit after September 31, 2016, and this subscription will be disabled.
The IRC channel I'm in right now is freaking the fuck out because the server space they share is about to bite the dust.
The IRC channel I'm in right now is freaking the fuck out because the server space they share is about to bite the dust.
lol how fucking expensive is server space for a few IRC channels?
The IRC channel I'm in right now is freaking the fuck out because the server space they share is about to bite the dust.
Except that day will never come.
lol how fucking expensive is server space for a few IRC channels?
At least a couple of dollars per month.
you have to pay for server space? what a novel concept
lol how fucking expensive is server space for a few IRC channels?
It's not the IRC server that's the problem. It's the few odd terabytes of old system data, notably physical Symbolics disk images, documentation and FEP images being hosted among other old software. We now have to find a new internet connection that doesn't mind the absolutely colossal amount of data that was moving on and off the server via sftp.
[blogpunch] Just got my first paycheck with commission (for the resale dept of my company making over $200,000 this month) and holy shit weee It feels nice to have nice big paycheck coming in like that. On the downside, they still haven't given me the 50 cent raise I've been promised for 2 months now :v:
Well how big was it? Also, if they are stringing you along for a 50 cent raise, you should be looking right now.
Well how big was it? Just happy to have a job at all, right now. And it's almost $1200..Compared to a normal paltry $650.
