I dunno, I really like the Space Gray MacBook (which is also the color I picked) - pictured on right:

When you get into that higher end where everything is a metal substance of some sort I don't actually like matte black. But I mean in context of ThinkPads and shit, yeah, that's a good color choice.

Quality anodized matte black is best black.
Thanks to Lian-Li for introducing me to it.
[sp]Always matte black, all the time, well for tech hardware atleast[/sp]

I never have luck with anything anodized, it always flakes off no matter how high quality it claims to be.

Those non-silver Apple computers are :weeb:

Any kind of white, and gloss black is cancer.
Even worse than silver of any sort.
As a press operator with ink on my hands most of the time, a white phone is the absolute worst.

I miss my One X :(
So I moved out from my parents house to somewhere else closer to my internship. I don't think they've got good wifi connections though, speedtest isn't supposed to go -7Mb/s and then crash. :v:
I love the gold color, but I despise the matte gold that has been popping up. Everything just look like cheap ripoffs of what they could actually look like.
I can do Silver/Black or the anodized matte black for my tech devices. Get that bright white shit away from me.
I guess it's homeplug time!
I'm also fond of the dark blue that Samsung does for their devices too.

The shape? yes that's absolutely horrible, but the color is one of the least awful ones compared to glorious non-reflective black.

I saw so many matte black and grey cars when I was in Scandinavia. They were sexy as fuck.

Beige needs to make a comeback. :v:

IMO only a few cars look good in Silver, but almost any car with sharp lines look great in matte black vinyl wrap.

'Least it got a sorta 'retro' appeal, buuuut then it fades to a funky yellow after a few years due to the flame retardant in the plastic.
Unless you spent the effort and material to make a 'classic' looking front out of steel and/or aluminium and paint it.
I'm still a big fan of matte white cases, sue me.

It should be simple enough to make ABS without the flame retardant, no? Not that I'd want an ABS phone in this day and age, but I do really enjoy the look of old ABS computers that haven't been fucked by UV rays.

The flame retardant became legally required for plastics used in home electronics after a certain year I can't remember.
Although I'm unsure about filament for 3D printers if you want to go that route.

I have a 3D printer, but an FTDM printer is never gonna produce something high quality enough to look production quality with no warpage and no painting :v: I'd have to make a mold or something.
htc one x is the prettiest phone i've ever owned (shame about the hardware)
i also love how the nexus 5 looks
in regards to the [sp]n9[/sp], i had both a black matte and a white glossy lumia 920 and i like the black one more tbh

Apple's shitty patent on this in 2014 aside, why was this not a fucking thing fifteen years ago?
The gap on the right plug.
I see that there's a gap, I just can't figure out what benefit that gives. I'm pretty sure that won't make it work as a reversible connector, at least not with a standard USB port, which is the obvious thing USB has needed.

Oh, but it does. You can plug the USB connector into any type A connector in either orientation.

Why was this not a thing earlier? Why is it only a thing now that Type C has buttfucked it into obsolescence? I think we can all agree this would of been amazing.
Oh, but it does. You can plug the USB connector into any type A connector in either orientation.
I don't see how that would physically work unless the center bit moves.
On all USB A sockets the connectors are on the side. Plugs typically have their plugs on the opposite side. This plug has the contacts in the middle with a gap on either side of equal distance so it does not matter which way you plug it in you have a good fit and electrical connection. That photo just looks like shit.
