Oh god, the Curse client is such a shitbox. I thank god many WoW addons have a way to notify if it is out of date.
Hitachi make everything though. From Nuclear power to sex toys to mainframes to ATMs and so on. So Rice cookers aren't really too surprising there.
Apparently the best vibrator in the world is a Hitachi, but because of the image impact no the 'brand' they sell it under a shell corporations name these days. - Shit you learn reading tech threads on 4chan that are so strange you have to confirm it on Google.
Apparently the best vibrator in the world is a Hitachi
Can confirm, those Hitachi wands are good shit
Can confirm, those Hitachi wands are good shit
Confirmation x2; they give really good shoulder and back massages
Can confirm, those Hitachi wands are good shit

Confirmation x2; they give really good shoulder and back massages
Confirmation x3; they can solve lots of problems.
Confirmation x3; they can solve lots of problems.
it saved my marriage and fixed my backpain at the same time, so i'd say yes!

They are legitimately fucking incredible. And I'm not just speaking for myself here...
what a time to be alive, SSDs have become ridiculously cheap recently, 512GB for the price of what 128GB costed years ago

What the fuck Microsoft.
That's an old issue. on XP it will occasionally do the same thing. I just shoved the folder next to the trash can and waited until the machine crashed and rebooted.
Whoever decided that Windows permissions should be the way they are can go die in a goddamn fire.
Now imagine having your filesystem permissions managed by a third-party utility forcefully installed on your work machine. :hammered: [editline]27th September 2016[/editline] Also, the Goog is 18 today... :weeb:
GNU is 33 but it's not like you care about software that makes the world move forward
in terms of mass consumer world moving forward google > GNU sorry
in terms of mass consumer world moving forward google > GNU sorry
Much of Google's back-end is reliant on GNU, soo.... Also you're making me agree with Sam, seriously, that's fucked up.
As idealistic as I'd like to be, money is what moves the world forward, and Google is figuring out how to squeeze it out of fucktons of different technologies [editline]27th September 2016[/editline] Well, money and killing people on large scales but the latter seems to be on the way out
Shouldn't need permission to delete a folder I literally have just made at the time :/ It's duuumb
delete hard drive
One day all of my storage will be TBs of SSDs.
The only mechanical drives in my house are the ones in my Xbones. Everything else is SSD. [editline]27th September 2016[/editline] Oh wait, that's a lie. I have an ancient Lacie 320gb external hard drive somewhere along with a 1TB F3 sitting in an empty case.
You should do that more often! It feels good to be right
Don't get ahead of yourself.....
Much of Google's back-end is reliant on GNU, soo.... Also you're making me agree with Sam, seriously, that's fucked up.
at this point most of google's backend is proprietary shit mapreduce, bigtable, gfs about the only gnu adjacent thing is redhat
It seems like copy and pasting stuff on Google Drive is impossible without making a copy of a file first, which gives it a "copy of x" file name, then moving it to another folder. I've tried programs that would connect Google Drive as a network drive to do stuff and it only copy folders. I have yet to try the Google Drive app but the problem with that is that it only supports 1 account and it makes you download EVERYTHING or select folders. If I have folders filled with terabytes of stuff, I don't want to be downloading it locally in that case.
Fuck OSX. Fuck Apple for removing anything helpful in troubleshooting. I'm beginning to think that despite it's flaws, Linux is the only logical OS. [editline]27th September 2016[/editline] THIS IS HOW PEOPLE GO FULL STALLMAN. Are you happy Apple and MS??
THIS IS HOW PEOPLE GO FULL STALLMAN.
Just be careful. Once you start eating your own toe sludge, you are too far gone for any known cure to work.
Linux actually turned me on to OS X but I'm just in the preliminary stages of getting into apple stuff need to get a used mac
If I had to choose between OS X and Windows and there was no Linux I'd probably go with OS X but christ is it infuriating at times when apple keeps moving shit and removing features. I left my iMac in Missishitty and I'm not sure if I'm going to go get it now that I have a competent Linux desktop set up again. E: Though I really can't do iOS. Had a 5S as my work phone for a year and didn't like it. Not that I'm happy with android but it's the best I've got available. (Shut up Sam)

Might get like a 2011 Mac Mini or something on the cheap sometime.

Work wise I hardly leave terminal tools or a web browser.
I decided to give my resume an uplift because I was bored today. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LxFfgux.png[/img_thumb] I think I did a nice job with it. I like it. The negative space on the bottom right will have more references, I just need to ask a couple more people. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Juj94lp.png[/img_thumb] This has been the resume I have used for the past seven years. The formatting is so horrible kms
Some tips for your resume: -Use a more diverse vocabulary to describe your skills instead of using "experianced" and "proficient" repeatedly -Same with your job descriptions, don't start everything with "Work involving...". Keep things simple and straight forward. -Don't put your references on the same page as your resume -Use a more formal email address than what you currently have.
Don't put your references on the same page as your resume, and use a more formal email address than what you currently have.
It's more of a breath of new life. I need to renew my domain name still (if it didn't get taken again) for my e-mail and I like the design of the double column. I'll definitely take that in to consideration though. [editline]27th September 2016[/editline] As for the new point you edited in, yeah it does sound fairly monotonous. Definitely some tweaking can be used when I do need to get back on the job hunt, but it's a baseline I appreciate.
lose references completely on a resume if they care enough they'll request people my bitchin latex resume
I should spam my resume everywhere again, gotta get more freelance jobs, or even a more stable one. I didn't get into the one where I did like 3 interviews with them. Oh well.
