I just want to watch 50FPS video as smoothly as possible :frown:
I think its only CRTs that can truly vary their framerate to match the content and my experiences of watching linear 25FPS TV on my LCD panel seems to confirm it.
My Sony TV is weird in that it is a 120 hz panel, but it isn't obvious, as its specified at 60 hz and doesn't have smoothing. But what it is amazing at is running at 24 hz. Its fucking smooth and movies look amazing.

It wasn't the case here with TVs in the states anyway. You had 60 hz CRT's or you go piss up a pole.
Computer CRTs at 85+ hz were nice though.
Windows always detected my monitors at 50Hz for whatever reason, I have to change it to 60Hz in the graphics settings from time to time.
When I upgraded to Windows 10 it changed my monitor to 40Hz and I was wondering why I kept getting screen tearing at 60FPS :v:
Aaaaarrrggh the Node 202 is calling out to me. I need that little sucker in my next build.
But in all the builds I've seen with it, where do you put the 2.5" drives?
I don't even know what's good in monitors anymore :saddowns:
IPS panels have awful black levels and IPS glow, and usually rather slow response times.
TN panels are ass for colour and black levels, but at least are fast and cheap.
VA panels apparently have great colours and black levels but suffer from black crushing and are expensive as shit.
I just want a good 22-24" Freesync display that won't cost half as much as a Vive and won't be a piece of shit.
Ayyyy I managed to sell my 560 Ti for a decent amount towards my 1070.

Does this look a bit suspicious to anyone? A lot of these accounts that has dealt with the buyer of my card has the exact same text left on the buyer's feedback page.
Doesn't look suspicious to me, i just paste in something like that when leaving feedback. If they had like 0 feedback then ehh...
That's pretty standard ebay feedbax from sellers like that. Does he have any feedback not from this month though?
Yeah it goes back to more than a year old feedback.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here trying to watch my 29.97 fps video as smoothly as possible

Fucking American broadcast standards
I sold my GTX760 and got a response exactly like that on my profile for my first ebay sale. I would think there is no worry for you.
"Great Ebayer"
This is too cheesy.
Oh I've left worse.
"Greatest seller ever! If we're in prison together, I'll be sure to watch your back"

I left this feedback some years ago on an account I stopped using, i can't find an actual screenshot of it :(

Cheap
Not shit
Pick one.
-snip-
Nevermind, it was the Pentium keychain I bought had that. The other ones I got were "All perfect!!! Thank's!!! A+++ seller!!!" for the video card and "Excellent buyer! Hope to deal with you again. Thanks!" for a book I think I bought.

Is under $400 really that much to ask for a decent 1080p (or 1200p preferably) monitor with freesync?
IDGAF about 4k gaming right now. I just want a replacement for this old Samsung I'm using currently.

There's seller tools that do stuff like this, it's usually people picking the same predefined messages.
Freesync is being thrown in everything these days, it's becoming as common as speakers in a monitor or VESA mounting. The issue is that Freesync (in comparsion to GSync) is poorly implemented unless it is on the high end models, and even then it still has its issues.
Someone left this on my feedback

Freesync is perfectly fine in comparison to gsync on the high end. And of course it's going to be thrown on everything lower end, its free.
Freesync still needs a chip, there's just no licensing fee.
[editline]5th October 2016[/editline]
And multiple companies make them.

Yeah, but the problem is I don't want just another shitty TN panel. I want something with good blacks and good colours (doesn't have to be sRGB accurate) with 75hz+ refresh rate and that's just impossible on a small budget I guess.

Yeah I don't mean free as in 100% let me just update my monitor for freesync. I mean a cheap chip and you're good, not a more expensive module+licensing. For anything at least midrange there's no reason to not include it.
So what the fuck does it mean when I get a USPS notice saying they're withholding a letter sent to me because postage is due? I didn't fucking send the letter, why are they wanting to charge me?

The letter that was sent to you has some form of COD (collect on delivery) on it. You should check in with USPS first to know who sent you the letter first.

Because the person who sent it didn't pay. They figure if you really want what's in the letter, you'll pay the postage. Just have them send it back/dispose of it if you don't care.

If I knew you were selling I'd have bought it. Been wanting a midrange card for a future streaming server, Was planning on buying a 560 Ti or a 750 Ti off ebay.

Yes.
:snip:
Do you want a HD7750?
It is full sized however.
Leaning towards Nvidia since I can always use NVENC as a backup on the machine. Along with that is power. 560 Ti and 750 Ti use only PCIe slot power, yes? I know OBS now supports AMD's encoding setup, but dunno how good it is.
Basically the GPU would just need to be low power and good enough to run compositing for OBS or whatever I end up using later.
