If you've already committed one crime, why stop there?

I bet he did 5 over the speed limit to get there too

I dunno, but when I got the car back it reeked of cigarettes, the seat was way back and the radio was turned up and tuned to 107.5, so I'm inclined to say they weren't exactly a great person. (Stealing cars is generally a good indicator of that regardless.)
Either way I'm done taking public transportation for a while, 3 out of 4 of my car breakins have occurred at a public transportation parking lot. Time to call around Denver and price out monthly parking rates. Also I'm getting rid of this goddamn car because stop breaking into it please for the love of god.
One of my two EVGA GTX 780ti Superclocked edition cards shit the bed. RMA accepted. Hoping for a 1080 in some special edition.

I feel like once I begin paying the $50 a month fee for unlimited, I might as well setup a script to download and upload stuff continuously 24/7 at like 70% of my connection, just pause it when I'm doing something important.
Christ I had to visit my first client west of evergreen today. That's going to be a hell of a biweekly trip in the snow.
What in the fuck just happened? I bought RAM yesterday off newegg using the egg saver thing option and it didn't even take 24 hours to get here. This has happened like 3 times using the cheap, slow shipping option on 3 different sites and it's starting to scare me how efficient they became in 6 months.

The Chinese are taking over
Anyone got ideas for how to use my bandwidth for "good" or at least public interest? I investigated Suchflex and Storj which are like peer-to-peer and blockchain dropbox like systems. You basically rent out space and bandwidth and get crypto. I got Wikileaks "insurance" torrents running. And I also have one of UC Berkeley's youtube channel. Apparently due to a law, the university had to literally delete thousands and thousands of free courses from their channel because they don't meet disability guidelines. Which is ridiculous. SO I'm helping to keep that one alive.
I'd like to do more of these in the future. Have them seeding off really small portable drives which sip power and are quiet.
Obviously I'll still use a lot of bandwidth for backups and uploading to youtube, but I probably got some to spare.
oh well no more newegg for me
glhf if you're trying to avoid the Chinese when buying tech products
Might as well say 你好 and get it over with

I'd dig through your plan's small print first, there's probably a line somewhere under "fair use" that says they can boot you off for using "too much" bandwidth

I'm sure it's in there, I'm not totally worried about that though. By the time that's an issue I should be out of here.
I don't even have a need to really torrent stuff, I got Netflix, Amazon, and YT Red.
Unless you know of a way to literally torrent hundreds of GB of Linux ISO's and public domain stuff and archives of them. I'll do it.

So in another word, you're going to stop using Newegg because their service got better?
well to be fair I havent bought a single thing from them since I got my computer
Every single part inside your computer + your phone + any game consoles + your TVs + probably most things in your house were assembled by Chinese people working for Chinese companies

I've begun using them again and their CS has gotten lightyears better. Used to be almost insulting to contact them.

Anyone else find it fucking stupid how windows has problems will filepaths over 255 char?
Such a pain in the ass for some random temp files or backup files that end up getting shuffled into 20 different subfolders.
I just spent half an hour trying to get my two TN panel monitors to colour match. They are close enough at this point.
The punishment for hardcoding 16:9 bars onto a movie or trailer should be death.
The punishment for hardcoding 16:9 bars onto a movie or trailer should be death.
Then there are pillarboxed 4:3 videos, which jacks up fullscreen on 4:3 monitors and fucks with scaling on 16:9 ones.
The player will do it automatically dumbshits.

Gotta love seeing slightly grey black bars, then the fully black bars on your computer screen because muh Rec709

Try those videos on my 21:9...
[editline]20th October 2016[/editline]
I'm tellin' ya guys, 21:9 isn't worth it unless you really need it.
The punishment for hardcoding 16:9 bars onto a movie or trailer should be death.
Better kill the people who made blu ray standards then because that only supports 16:9 and 4:3 so basically every movie ever released on blu ray has hard coded black bars.

Have 3 21:9 still don't give a flying fuck other than grumble incessantly when I watch a trailer that doesn't do it fucking job, worst part was I watched the international trailer for GotG vol 2 by accidental perfect 21:9, switch over to US trailer fucked up 21:9 formatted to fit 16:9 and was like why the fuck did you ruin a good thing.
