Microsoft Edge is okay. Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1 was actually superb for me. If they supported addons they would be perfect for me.
why the hell is AT&T buying the already shitty internet service provider I have... Time Warner Cable
They aren't. Media Time Warner, not Internet Time Warner. TWC was already bought by Charter anyways. (Well merged, but same shit)
Let me Know how that goes... I would help but I'm not that tech savvy in that sector
i ran the 'audio' file through some online repair tool thing and it started extracting video frames :v:

I'm planning on buying a MacBook Pro if they introduce a new one, and that looks pretty neat. And if that is to believed, it looks like the MBP line is finally getting an update. Was concerned that they'd drop it and just go with the kinda weak MacBook.
Kinda worried about the keyboard on that thing though.
Here's a close-up:

The Touch ID sensor is the power button as expected, but other than that, those rumors and concepts were right on the button
interesting
does the current 15inch rMBP have macbook pro on the bezel
my 13 doesn't and i could have sworn they moved away from that

65 is shorts and t-shirt time. 75 and I'm walking around the house in my underwear.
Who the hell sets anything higher than 80? Move to central Africa or something.
So playing videos, whether it's on Vimeo or YouTube in Full screen doesn't work. All I get is black. I can pause, hear the audio and whatnot but I can't actually see it. Chrome has this problem. Edge has this problem. VLC playing stuff in full screen ins fine. This only happens when I have my laptop on the dock. When the laptop is just by itself, full screen videos on a web browser work fine. I have no idea what's going on but I think the dock is causing some sort of issue for full screen videos on dual monitors. Weird, I know.

I could also recommended Mississippi.
It still blows my mind that there's no tactile button on the mac trackpad and it's all just force feedback.
I didn't believe my brother when we were in an apple store and he told me that.

It might be good for your wallet if you live in a warm climate. Electricity is expensive. :v: The Midwest deals with both extremes, fuck cold winter, and humid wet summer.

Yeah, but then you'd be living in Mississippi.

Still a tossup if Central Africa is worse.

Or just daily. Other day it was below 30 in the morning and like 75 by midday.

Apple will probably include software for that, like they did for the brightness, volume, etc keys on physical f-keys.

She lives in an apartment with central heating, not much of her choice in the temperature range. She says that other rooms aren't that hot, luckily I haven't been there yet.
but yeah, played some cs and helped my sister make a silhouette of our cats and now it is 24c in my room. Hot damn.
Is there a way to make steam not look like total ass with Windows dpi scaling?

I'm confused by you people. It was 16c (61f) today and I went out in a jacket. How is 80f that hot???? That's like... tshirt climate.
All browsers fucking suck
The Web sucks. The browsers are having to keep adding crap in for consumers and SanFran startups because lord help them if a site ~looks like paper~, it has to be some stimulating flurry of colors and rectangles.
Update on the Thinkpad, it has been cleaned inside out with compressed air. As expected, there was a lot of dust in the fans. I'll add new thermal paste whenever I get some later on. Got charger and it works. Found out how to pull the battery at properly. Turns out there's a SIM card slot so I could get mobile data on this thing which is pretty neat. Installed a 4GB RAM stick, so total RAM is now 6GB. Installing Windows 10 on the 320GB HHD I got for free earlier, using the media creation tool for Windows 10 off a bootable USB drive.
No hard drive caddy? No problem, just get some foam!

Just installed Windows 10 now, I used the Windows 7 Pro key on the sticker on the underside and it seems to have worked fine so that's neat. Also fun fact, this Thinkpad seems to have come from Singapore because it said so on the sticker. Now it is downloading and installing the various drivers and updates I'm gonna need for this to work. So far, nothing is "broken".. except for my right Control key because my friend who was helping me kinda broke it trying to pull the keyboard out, lol whoops. Oh well.
Stuff to get soon: the red nub, SSD off Amazon whenever the Black Friday sales come around, a proper hard drive caddy, Expresscard to USB 3, new battery if needed, new keyboard if needed (off eBay).
Stuff to do now: install whatever else I need on this thing.

What the fuck 16c is t shirt weather. I don't even own long pants (I have one jacket). My dad wears a jacket and wool socks inside (and still complains it's cold) when it's like 25 outside and I sit there in a t shirt and shorts and wonder where he went wrong?
Christmas is going to be miserable and hot again just like it is every year.

I don't get coal for Christmas, I turn into coal.

Such is life in Australia. Worse yet is I'm going to be in Adelaide and I just know it's going to be unbearable there this year.
I'm confused by you people. It was 16c (61f) today and I went out in a jacket. How is 80f that hot???? That's like... tshirt climate.
There's a difference between indoors and outdoors, at least for me. It can be 30C/85F outside and be just about right, but the same temperature indoors is just way too hot. I prefer to set my AC for 20C/70F, and heater for 15C/60F.
Don't know exactly why that is... poorer airflow, maybe? Or just psychological, even.
I'm confused by you people. It was 16c (61f) today and I went out in a jacket. How is 80f that hot???? That's like... tshirt climate.
Depends on the climate of the area. Summer at it's hottest isn't any more than 105f here with 110 being like record breaking, but normally it's mid 80s, which is comfortable. But that's not factoring in humidity. Its hardly ever very humid in my area so 100+f isn't so bad.
Winters are just wet and cold. Not quite cold enough to snow, but still cold.
