Pornographic ^^ I like.
It's okay, but resolution independence is going to be a bitch. [editline]06:14PM[/editline] I'm under the impression that any animated elements here are going to be hard-coded by us (unless we lift the scrollbar code off another distro, for that matter), though...
It can't be that hard to code a loading bar.
Not to be rude but has their been any actual progress on this?
Not to be rude but has their been any actual progress on this?
I'm sure you guys could have got an X-server up by now :sax:
What package management system will this be using?
I vote pacman.
What package management system will this be using?
Based on Debian and its repositories.
Based on Debian and its repositories.
That's good. Debian has great package management.
I vote pacman.
I second this.
I couldn't care less about the frontend. With the exception of web browsing and editing files, I do everything from CLI.
Note to self - kicking minions up the arse makes them work better. Im sold on Extrems grub splash. Tempting to commit that to the installer image tonight, and use that for the first release. That certainly doesn't mean others can't be working on improvments.
I think Extrems could use some more contrast love. It's really, really, really hard to see the bar and the logo on this screen here.
They're supposed to be really subtle.
Damn, he could shove in a magic eye too.
Damn, he could shove in a magic eye too.
wat
Damn, he could shove in a magic eye too.
huh?
I vote pacman.
I vote RPM :downs:
I'm fine with deb or RPM, as long as I don't have to compile everything
I really want to try this distro, and guesses on when it will be availble?
I never use deb or rpm files. Always either from source or pacman.
I really want to try this distro, and guesses on when it will be availble?
30th of August ...2020
I'd be interested in helping out with any arty stuff. I can also do sound shiz if you want sound themes. I'd be no help with coding though.
How's it coming along?
I'd be interested in helping out with any arty stuff. I can also do sound shiz if you want sound themes. I'd be no help with coding though.
hi lemme do art here's none of my previous work there's already a million people wanting to do art
I'd be interested in helping out with any arty stuff. I can also do sound shiz if you want sound themes. I'd be no help with coding though.
Give us some examples, no matter if graphics or audio, we're gonna need that too i guess. HAI GUISE LETS DO A SOUNDTRACK
We need a half-minute first startup sound. FUUCK YEAAAAHHHHHHH
Someone write me the lyrics and a melody to it and i'll do it srsly.
Just make it a load of Coldplay-esque noodling.
Fuck coldplay. <---- I kid, i kid. Wouldn't mind having a games style sound theme. HL2 suit charger sound when you go onto AC power =]
