Would you rather have impact or comic sans! eh! I was instructed that this would be the official website domain by birkett and the others in the IRC last night.
Shouldn't the link on the homepage point to the OP?
if you guys dont want me on the team, thats your choice, but im willing to listen and learn Btw im not using a vector graphics program.
Don't worry, I don't think we'll be wanting to replace you. Personally, I think it's better you stick along for you to learn on the job alongside.
So what are finished?
Also, did this (non-periodic tilings - took me a while to figure it out only to find out that Wolfram did it first). I'm not sure about the disruptive lines. 2D 3D

I can't get such regularity when using the smudge tool with an image split into parts...
Am I the only one here who thinks that those effects are kinda ugly?
I could whip up some fp quotes for fortune-mod if people are interested.
I could whip up some fp quotes for fortune-mod if people are interested.
Hack up a perl script to go through DDT and pregex off any sentence with the words "fuck, shit, crap, bullshit, mods are douches" in it.
Sounds more like it.

We should have a meeting in the IRC one day sooner or later (it isn't really urgent, so) to decide about one common CI. A load of graphics all with different styles don't get us anywhere. We'll need to have one set of styles, fonts, colors and layout rules to begin with.
PM your favorite quotes to my direction.
Well, I'm using what you told me - complete with color eyedropped off your initial wallpaper - so there we go.
No we don't. Just because you use the same font and colors we don't have one CI. :v: You asked for the font, i told you it's name. I didn't tell you to use it. It doesn't fit to your work really.
Hence we have wallpaper schemes :v:
Yes, but we still need to coordinate everything. Everyone just working next to eachother won't help. This is one project, not a competition. We need to work together. Yes we can!
Gone for a subdomain on cosmics facepunch.info, because I don't want to be hacking about with DDNS. We need as much control as we can get over the domains, mainly for the mirroring. Later on today, i'll be uploading the buildroot. This is not FP Linux. It's a stripped down Gentoo, which will be used to build the actual distro. It's in the form of a VMware 6.5 image, around about 1gb when extracted. I'm looking at forking the current debian stable, so we can use aptitude. I think we are all in agreeance that that's the best way forward, binary package management. More news later, just got home from work. (Yay. 2.5 x overtime on weekends)

Yes we can!
Yeah, I suppose. Now we just need to get everyone on IRC at the same time :downs: Also, chugging forward there.

Uploading the buildroot to denzo's FTP as i type. Full details in a min when its done, and ive spawned it across a few more mirrors.
Brill, I'll be shifting back into OS X to see what I can do.
Can I just point something out about all the wallpapers the art people have made? Disruptive patterns (all the red-white checkerboard stuff) as desktop backgrounds makes it hard as hell to find icons. Just sayin'. Otherwise they look cool - but they need less contrasting colours or something.
