buttsex, when the hard drive and cd drive are installed in the case, the cable usually isn't long enough to connect both cuz they're too far apart.
One ide port allows two devices. [editline]01:58AM[/editline] do any of these guys own an alienware, HP, dell, compaq, or ibuypower?
No, they build them by themselves.
No, they build them by themselves.
Well they must be assuming that you are going to buy a new operating system, a terabyte hard drive, a bluray drive, a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
I wouldn't mind a new 1tb HDD... Or a new OS XD

I don't need a bluray drive in my PC.

It is very useful. http://www.yougamers.com/hardware/stats/3dmark06/priceandperformance/ So I guess the best bang for your buck would be the 9800GT or 4770. If you can afford the 5750 that would be best because of DirectX 11. Be sure to look at the requirements of the cards. Make sure you power supply can support those cards.

And don't buy a GPU just because of DX11. It's a nice feature, but it's not why you buy 5xxx series cards. You buy them when they're better than what you have. Otherwise you're just wasting money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102824 And if you have an extra $45. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102865
I can get my 4770 to near 4870 speeds. 910 on the core and 1040 on the ram :D stock 750/800
So I've decided on a new motherboard, some more RAM, and a video card. What I'm thinking about purchasing: Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131402&cm_re=evo_am3-_-13-131-402-_-Product Graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150447 And I have no idea what RAM I should get. As for a PSU, should I stick with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171031? Or go with something with a higher wattage? And should I look into fans?

[editline]04:14AM[/editline] Even a 460W.
