http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171053 Even better PSU for $70, but with more power.

why are you guys giving him an athlon when he says he can't go over 3000 just give him an i7 and GTX480 and be done with it
I meant by nothing fancy... jeez, just look at what games I will be playing [editline]11:13PM[/editline] Ok changed some stuff, which is GPU and PSU Night guys. I off for the night, please read over what i changed
Ok i'm back, is there anything that in the list that needs to be changed?
Something like this + a case, PSU, disc drive and anything else you want. That's a pretty damn kickass build, it'll run pretty much anything smoothly. If you want to go cheaper, you can: - instead of RAIDing 2 drives only get 1 - get only 1 GPU instead, cheaper options are: 5870, GTX470, 5850, single GTX460, 5830 - at the same time get a cheaper motherboard since you won't need SLI/crossfire - get a i5 750 CPU, or an AMD x4 955 even cheaper
For a non-budget build these suggestions are quite weak, maybe except for the above build.
ATM, whose MOBO is better? Mine or the above I have OS already as well [editline]01:34PM[/editline] Well i changed the stuff can someone check it out
get the above build but with this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131482&cm_re=asus_p55-_-13-131-482-_-Product this CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215&cm_re=i5_750-_-19-115-215-_-Product and this GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121373&cm_re=GTX_480-_-14-121-373-_-Product
Is mine bottlenecked?
bump
Don't bump here, this is one of the slowest non-custom forums on this site. And assuming you're talking about the list in the OP, you're not bottlenecked, but considering the fact that the motherboard you chose only has one PCIe 2.0 slot good luck with that 460 SLI you're trying.
I was checking out with the items i have, just to check how much would it be. What confused me is why is the DVD Burn drive separated from my rest of the order? what's up with that? Will the case fit everything on the list? Do i need additional cooling since im gonna get a i5? Here's the link again if you post directly without looking http://secure.newegg.ca/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=13316285

The extra cores in the i5 750 will offset the extra clock speed in the i5 650 because of turboboost, and you don't need a flagship motherboard, as nice to look at as the Maximus 3 may be. So: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131621
Will it all fit in the case? Do I need additional cooling? If every thing's fine I'm getting it really soon as in maybe next June so thats 10 months and didn't pass the rules limit

Everything here will be pretty much obsolete by then. Post another thread next year within a week or two of the build date.

If you have "no budget" why not get a Phenom II x4 + 4GB DDR3 + ATi 5850/5870 and get a triple monitor eyefinity setup? [editline]09:28AM[/editline] shit just saw this is for 10months in the future :geno:
What the flying fuck OP?
