Because that sentence was pretty obviously hinted at
Yeah man, there's no way you can buy a magic box and have it add pixels to a screen when they're not there.
Is there any place that even sells non-flatscreen TVs?
They're not different. They're still monitors just with high DPI. You could get 1080p on a 15in desktop monitor, though no company is going to make a 147dpi desktop monitor that's only 15in.
That's what I meant. It's just that no one makes them because they're really expensive to make compared to say a 23" displaying 1080p.
Can I just verify, 1080p and 1080i do not refer to different resolutions... http://hometheater.about.com/od/televisionbasics/qt/1080ivs1080p.htm
Yes they don't refer to different resolutions just the way it is drawn and displayed.
Is there any place that even sells non-flatscreen TVs?
Where did I state I just bought the TV? It's an old TV, which we've had a few years.
He's 15 and Swedish, move along now.
Who cares.
Notebook displays are a lot different than standard monitors, don't be silly. My 15.4" laptop displays 1680x1050, therefore all 16" displays should display 1680x1050, and my dad's 17" laptop displays 1920x1080, therefore all 18 and 19 inch displays should display 1920x1080. It doesn't work that way.
a 17" with 1080p ? Holy fuck that must be one clear ass picture.
a 17" with 1080p ? Holy fuck that must be one clear ass picture.
My dad's just go t his new dell precision workstation from work. The screen is just orgasmic, It just destroys desk monitors. Though 1080p makes the laptop cry if you don't kill background processes.
