Better PSU than the corsair in Zerokateo's. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371050 His isn't bad, but it's really expensive because of the 80 plus silver rating, and it's not worth it when you can get a power supply that outputs 110W more on the 12V rails for the same price. [editline]16th January 2012[/editline]
My 600w CTX600 works with an i5 750 and 560 Ti fine. Though I'd recommend a 570 or something besides a 560, really. A TON of people are getting issues (myself included) with TDRs and a few other bugs with the 560 more so than others in the 500 family (or so I've seen yet) and it seems to be a hit or miss with it.
Nvidia says the TDR thing is a driver issue, and they've actually been paying people's shipping and giving them free games to send them in cards that have the issue so they can try and replicate it. It also didn't exist before the 280.xx drivers so it's safe to assume it will be fixed. [del]But I do agree that a GTX 570 is a better purchase solely because it performs better and it fits his budget if he gets a cheaper PSU in the 750W range.[/del] Nevermind, a GTX 570 won't fit the budget unless he gets a mid end 600W, and I'd rather choose a nice 900W HCG and GTX 560 Ti over a 600W CX and GTX 570.
