K sorry for all the replies now i stop :gonk:
If you want a cheap computer, OS and a monitor then your probably best buying a cheap pre-built bundle and adding more ram. On the whole it is only cheaper to build your own for more expensive builds because you can get some really good offers with cheap pre-builts.
Where would you suggest i look for a cheap pre-built? Part of the reason I am willing to do this is because it allows me to try and build my first computer, something i haven't done yet.
Edit: Don't need a monitor as i stated I'm just using remote access to control it.
What about this setup? https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?BundleExist=N&ID=14971586&ChangeQty=0
With promo codes today I can get it for a mere 492$ with shipping!
