Just got my iPad mini retina through the post finally. The screen is so much better than my original in term of colour. Liking the grey too.
Does anyone else notice it takes a while for the MacBook Air 2013 to connect to wifi networks when you return from sleep? Or is this just me?

I find if it doesn't reconnect quickly, I just turn the WiFi off and back on and it's fine.
So its probably a software thing? I did some reading and I found it isn't an uncommon problem. Most people say it started when they got Mavericks. I hope its fixed soon because its annoying to have to wait over a minute for the computer for find wifi.

Just turn the WiFi off and back on. It reconnects within a few seconds.
I thought all laptops turn off wifi when in sleep mode
They do, but for some reason when the computer wakes up it takes a while for it to find wifi networks unless you manually cycle the WiFi off and on.
Anyone's iPhone draining battery like crazy since 7.1?
I've had the phone for 3 weeks and suddenly its draining from 100% to 0% overnight on standby. Location services and every conceivable power drainer is turned off :/
Can't say I've had any problems, maybe draining slightly quicker? I'm on an iPhone 5
Fixed it with a hard reset. It has since drained 15% in 6 hours which is a lot more normal.
Perhaps some process was left running during the update.

You know the OG mini and the retina one share the same colour characteristics for the panel though right? It's the same manufacturing process as the iPhone 4 used so you get roughly the same gamut and gamma. Your original must have had a panel from a bad batch or something if the retina looks substantially better for colours.

Also the messages app performance still sucks on 7.1 on iPad. Rotation is bad with or without the keyboard, sub 30fps when doing the gesture to change between apps, and stutters closing animation. Not really sure what it is about that app that gives apple such a hard time.
iOS 7.1 is pretty nice on iPads, they finally fixed animations for gesture control.

It's odd, iOS 6 didn't have any problems, maybe it's something to do with that motion on the messages when you scroll up and down, it should be disabled whilst rotating though
Just got a 16gb Unlocked mint condition iPhone 5S with all accessories (the earpods were still in the factory plastic)
for £350 :)

Pretty much everything wrong with iOS 7 is described by that.

It had one problem. It was ugly.
It's still ugly, but it was ugly then, too.

White + Silver, would of preferred the space grey option but I couldn't let that deal pass me by
Navigating FP on an iPhone is actually not too painful
Navigating FP on an iPhone is actually not too painful
I'm doing it right now. The worst part is writing a new post, sometimes it randomly goes to the search box at the top right in the middle of typing, apart from that navigating fp is fairly painless

I'm yet to encounter this, but this reminds me of the time years ago when I read an entire creepypasta on FP on my old iPod touch, I was reading it for like an hour at least and when I finished my vision was orangey-red from looking at the blue quote box background :v:

My 2G would kernel panic (or whatever the equivelent is) because I accidentally clicked on a thread with too many images. Ah, the wonders of 128 MB of RAM.
I have my 5g Touch set to sync my library. I re-installed Windows yesterday, added another album and tried to sync my iPod. 'Need 15 gigabytes more space'. Okay, maybe try turning off sync, delete all my music manually and then sync it again. 'Need 15 gigabytes more space'. Wait, it did delete all the music right? It's not there in the 'on this iPod tab', it shouldn't be there on the iPod itself, right?

Schrodinger's music libary everyone. Anybody have a fix besides restoring it?
Is there a way to sync Apple settings on one mac to another? I have a bunch of mouse settings and keyboard shortcuts set up.

Yeah, this is one of the weird things about deleting music on your phone... It can't be overwritten externally, but apps and app data can overwrite it.
I don't think there's a fix beyond either using a file explorer tool to delete it, or restoring the phone.
I had this issue a few months ago. Surprised they still haven't fixed it.
Just wondering, because I got this phone second hand does it mean I don't get the apple warranty thingy
Like if the battery starts sucking ass and it falls under their standard warranty will I be able to claim that? Or do I need to be the original owner

Nope it's totally linked to the device, you don't need to be the original owner.
Wow, my 3GS just started saying 'No Service' in the middle of town (where I get constant full signal) and won't pick it back up.
I've turned off 3G, data entirely, as well as respringing but none of those work. I'll wait for it to recharge and then do a hard reset and see what happens.

It's Apple's kill switch.

Probably, I was going to jump ship back to Android anyway. If it's fucked up I'm not going to get it fixed.
