The antenna might have become disconnected, you could open it up and check
The antenna might have become disconnected, you could open it up and check
I ended up hard resetting and it seems to have fixed.

If anyone is having their KB and Trackpad go unresponsive when inserting and removing things from the usb ports try removing the Android File Transfer tool. The problem has been driving me crazy recently, and for the moment I hope this fix that a lot of people have vouched for works. https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39548 Posted at this link is also a guide for killing the Agent that causes the problem.
Inb4 "Google trying to destroy Apple". It does make you wonder though...
Apple isn't very good at cross platform either. iCloud control panel loves to kill explorer.exe when you try to use photostream, it's pretty terrible. And iTunes still isn't "good" even if it's not as bad as before.
Apparently the issue came in with the 1.8.4 combo update. I recently reinstalled to try and fix the issue, and after I still had it I went through and wrote on a piece of paper every application that uses USB. Got lucky it starts with an "A" and was actually the problem when checking google. [editline]23rd March 2014[/editline] I've also had Itunes nuke a Windows 8 install so badly it forced me to use a previous recovery backup. The weird thing was that I had just installed Windows 8 and Itunes was one of the first things I installed to sync my Ipod up.
I have two Atom invites. Let me know if you want one.

Dayum too late.
What would be some good uses for an old mac mini g4?
So I've noticed a weird screen issue when I was using my phone landscape, about the size of the status bar, there is a slight yellow discolouration, it's really noticeable of you look at a full white image and put the phone landscape, it's not particularly noticeable in normal use but it bothers me all the same :v: Can anybody confirm they have this issue on a 5s? And is it worth going to an apple store or will I get called an idiot and sent away

The guy wouldn't ship a white iPhone because of issues making the home button the exact color of white, I really don't think he would have let something like the mini retina ship with the display issues. I have never once seen one with a uniform white balance, there is ALWAYS one side that is warmer because the backlighting is insufficient. I would honestly try anyway if it's an iPhone with tinting because it's a much more expensive device and it's not common for it to have that issue.
He was alive when the iMacs were shipping with the same yellow lines.
I have never seen any IPS based iMac with such an issue, I would think it would show up in greyscale and uniformity testing from that period. Is this pre 2010 TN panel era? That would hardly be the same situation because of Apple's much smaller hold on panel suppliers and the general variance of TN panels in general. Some Googling brings up a lot of commotion in 2009 and the first months of 2010. Those would have been primarily TN iMacs. I really can't blame them for that since the alternative is really just don't ship the product period.
What would be some good uses for an old mac mini g4?
Install a Linux distro. I tried using OSX on it but I couldn't. Finding modern PowerPC software for OSX isn't exactly easy, unless you know exactly what you want. On the other hand, I have Debian on my G4, and pretty much any software you can get for the x86 version of Debian, you can get for the PowerPC version. That even means the latest version of Firefox/Iceweasel, which run surprisingly well with only 1.5 Ghz and 1 GB of RAM. Seems to run a bit quicker as well if you install a light desktop enviroment like LXDE. Getting sound to work seemed a bit iffy on mine though. Not like its a big deal, since I use it as a torrent box and part time file server. That is, if you don't intend on using it for legacy Mac OS software of course.

So I came home and found my lightning connector melted at the end. What's a good cheap one I can buy? I'm not spending $20 on an official one. Need it quick since I'm kinda fucked without it.

I would think a melted one is grounds for a replacement though.
Getting an ACD this Friday or next week.
