Also if you want to be ghetto like me you can buy a fast 128GB SD card to bump the storage.
i've never had an apple cable break before. just don't wring them around things and keep them at a relatively regular angle
Yeah me neither. Just as long as you pull it out only by holding the connector and not the cable itself you're good.
Should I go for a Ipad Air 16Gb Wifi or wait for a new model launch? I already have a 5s. How about his battery? and specs?

It's coming out in a few months, if you can I would wait.
Anyone using Limechat know how to make a channel list appear?

You should wait. As Kaabii will no doubt tell you, the pitiful amount of RAM in the Air is a massive limitation, and you'll find yourself frustrated with it very soon.
That's really my biggest problem with mine.

I would also strongly recommend bumping it up to 32Gb. 16gb vanishes pretty fast in tablet usage.

Right click on the server and click Channel List?
Right click on the server and click Channel List?
Probably should've been more specific, I meant in the side column.
If you mean on the right side it, there is a draggable bar that separates users and the server channel list. Do you just not have the server/channel list in the bottom right?
Which pc file browser do you guys use? I'm using iTools, but I didint like the chinese thing in the interface...
1tb drives are so tiny and light. usb3 makes most of them pretty quick too
i bought a retina and USB3 drive instead and it's perfect. just put the HDD in the same bag as your macbook and keep it plugged in if you want even
[editline]17th August 2014[/editline]
the non retina macbook at regular price is a rip off. it's not a good laptop by a lot of standards now
In general, steering towards a flash/SSD drive is the best bet, too. Not only do you not need to worry about drive failure, but the lifetime of the drive is not 3 years. It should be 5+
External drives are cheap as hell now. And if you don't like the prices, buy an enclosure and a 2.5" drive.

For macs, PhoneView or senuTi have been good to me
Want a Mac so bad why they have to cost so much :(
You guys recommend an Air or a Pro? Be mainly used for programming, internet, maybe some movie editing and also some light gaming when I'm away from my desktop at home.
Was thinking to go for the 256gb Retina Pro.

If you're going to be doing video editing, you're going to have to get a Pro.
I'd say its worth getting the pro. I was deciding between the two and I'm glad I got the pro with it being a bit more capable.
Is there really that much difference in the weight or whatever?
Is there really that much difference in the weight or whatever?
1.08/1.35 kilos on the Air vs 1.57/2.02 on the rMBP. It's not going to matter that much in the end.
Doesn't seem too big of a difference. I'm going to start saving anyway
Shiny new Yosemite beta is out. Hope it'll let me remove my duplicate Keynote shortcut.
[editline]21st August 2014[/editline]
Oh cool, it removed the duplicate icon.
I'm in need of a better word processor than Text Edit, can anyone assist me?

I don't know if this still works, but if you install the the 30-day trial of iWork '09, the app store will automatically update them (pages, numbers, keynote) to the full version of iWork '13. Pages / Word for actual document stuff - I really love pages but sadly not always an option.
If those for some weird reason aren't an option for you, I believe I heard Libreoffice is ok
So any word on the iPhone 6 yet? My 4S just fell down a storm drain yesterday so I need a new phone, I was wondering if upgrading to the 5S would be worth it or just wait for the 6.
I'm considering getting a 5.5" one myself to replace my android phone, because it looks like they'll be out this september.
The screen material seems like the most appealing point followed by UI responsiveness.

You can probably expect the Iphone six to get announced in the second week of september and then release within the couple weeks after that. I believe it was announced on the 9th in a previous year then released on the 19th or 20th.
I've got 3 beta coins for Mailbox. Send me a PM if you want one, I guess.
I just got a school MacBook Air. Bootcamp assistant isn't showing up. Is there another way to install Windows?
