eh why can't you use the original one
Try CarTunes. But it's from the appstore and costs 5$
eh why can't you use the original one
When they updated the iPod touch they upped the bass levels a bit to make the shitty headphones sound better (that's the only logicial explanation I can find) and on the 3g and 3g only it gets distorted basically everything sounds like shit and comes out as a loud of distortion as soon as the song gets remotely bassy I wish i could use the original one because i hate installing extras but I really can't listen to music properly with it :v:
Why not change the EQ in settings?
the EQ's consist of preset stuff, and the only one that removes the distortion somewhat is treble booster, so all the music doesn't sound right [editline]19th April 2013[/editline] If there was a tweak that had custom EQ's in the stock music player I'd be thrilled but I can't seem to find one
So long story short I had to replace my Galaxy Nexus that went through the wash but I had a phone upgrade available on my account so I went for an iPhone 5 which I've been gawking at for a while. It's the 16GB version but I'm fine with that, I always have my 32gb iPod Touch in my left pocket. Anyways I'm so glad I finally went with an iPhone since all my purchases are on iTunes and I wasn't a big fan of the Play store for Android. I still like Android but since I've had iPods and iPads for the longest time I figure I might as go with the iPhone. The only feature I truly miss is photo sphere, but seeing how Apple usually adds Android features to iOS eventually, I'll just wait and see. I plan on jailbreaking it soon like I have with my other devices but what apps would you guys recommend? I have a little over $40 in iTunes cards from gifts but when I had my Gnex I only bought games for my iPad every now and then.
Get Photosynth. It's Microsoft's app that was doing those types of panorama pics well before photosphere came out.
Right, I am selling my Macbook Pro Retina tomorrow. How do I restore it to original factory settings so when the buyer starts the computer up it will ask for his Apple ID etc etc?
Pardon my stupidity, but since we're already talking about this: there are no negative changes with jailbreaking, right?
Besides Apple store not really liking you, no.
Besides Apple store not really liking you, no.
I had no problem when i gave my jailbroken to the employee, that was at the Apple Store in Amsterdam :v:
I found a pair of earpods these things are really good!

I know some might be obvious: Genius scan (A scanning app which has a free version on iOS as opposed to android. It's especially handy for university assignments I have learned) AppsforFree (summarizes apps that are temporarily free on app store) ActMonitor (keeps a track of various things regarding battery life, network info and data-use) DealExtreme ASOS WolframAlpha the Steam app Skype Netflix dropbox PayPal Photosynth (as mentioned) Find my iPhone
Goddamn I'm having too much fun with this Something satisfying about being able to bend the rules set down by Apple
Sold my Macbook Pro Retina today for £1300. Bought it a year ago brand new for £1550.
i got a brand new macbook pro like less than a week ago and now its all fucked up somehow?? i was in ableton today and i tried changing the volume and the little volume widget that pops up when you change it was really really slow to respond to me pressing the "volume up" button, now whenever i change volume not only does it lag a ton but the entire computer starts freezing up and when i open applications they start crashing and shit

I recommend erasing the OS and reinstalling using steps found in this link.
ehhh i hope i can find a way to fix this that doesnt involve reinstalling my computer seems a bit ridiculous that changing the volume on my laptop basically crashes the thing until reboot on a $2000 brand new laptop, wtf is up with that

Mac's factory installation IS a clean installation.
Anything cool I can do with a spare iPod Touch 2g?
I used mine as an itunes remote
Sell it whilst you can still get a decent price
Sell it whilst you can still get a decent price
The screen is absolutely fucked. Cracked to hell and back.
Gazelle bought my beat up 3GS for $135 when the iPhone 4 was just released. The screen was cracked, it couldn't hold a charge, and a third of the screen was dead.

I'd say fix it, but from my escapades of fixing my friend's 2G it's just not worth it. It's also really slow and a good chunk of apps won't run on it, so just toss it.
Anything cool I can do with a spare iPod Touch 2g?
Jailbreak it and use it as a pocket snes.
Jailbreak it and use it as a pocket snes.
... That's a good idea. Thanks! [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] Only issue being that the charge on this thing is terrible.
The iPod touch 2g has 36 hours music playing battery life but the 3g only has 30 hours why [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] Also the 3g has the internals of the 3gs, yet it's not updated past 5.1.1
