I preordered my phone and it was quicker for me to actually go to an Apple Store and get it rather than wait for the order.

Same. They shipped me it via UPS with delivery before noon guaranteed on the Friday of release.
Yosemite Golden Master has been sent to developers as well as a 4th public beta. I say around the 20th a full release.
I picked up my grandfather's G4 cube yesterday (used to be ours, before we traded it for a gas range), with everything that comes with it (sans Studio Display. I distinctly remember having one, but nobody else does), and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the speakers.
As you all know, Harman-Kardon produced the best desktop speakers ever for the G4 Cube. However, due to Steve Jobs' hatred of cable mess, he insisted they rely on a proprietary high-voltage USB port for power and sound, and the T-amp on the DAC will only trip if they're in one of those ports.
Up until Lion, you could get them working with most Macbooks and iMacs, as they retained a high-power port for iDevice charging. However, Lion disabled the ability to restore the Kext that enabled the amp, so they now only work with the Cube.
As much as I wish I could keep Harman-Kardon's brilliantly designed DAC, it's absolutely worthless now since I can't use it with anything (Except the Cube, but the Cube is a 500Mhz PPC desktop, and it does not make the greatest of media centers.) So I'm thinking about gutting the amp and replacing the board with one that accepts 12V DC and 3.5mm line-in. I've found one on Adafruit that I think will suit my purpose, but I want to run it by the more tech-savvy among you before I pick it up.
Anyway, this is the amp that comes with the ball speakers.

Now, my main problem is finding a 2x10w amplifier board that'll fit inside that case. The speakers were designed to run at 10w per speaker on a 20w USB port, but I can't find a low-profile board from any major distributor at less than 2x20w, unless it's the standard 2.4w or 3.7w stuff for tiny speakers.
I did find a 2x20w board from Adafruit that fits my purposes almost exactly, but it's twice as powerful as the original amp. I'd wager that'd cause some issues with distortion, and perhaps even coil heating and burn-out, if it ever ran at full power. I'd rather not burn out a set of $300 speakers because I was stupid with the board, unless running the speakers on 20w each wouldn't be too big of an issue.
Again, I'm not really sure what I'm dealing with here. If anyone has some advice they'd like to share, I'd love to hear it.
Ok this has to be me or something. So when I was using an Apple Wireless mouse at the Apple Store, I lifted it from the surface of the table and all of a sudden the mouse stops working. On the screen, I can see that the mouse disconnected. Moments later it reconnected. That was very annoying since I usually move/lift the mouse when I run out of space to move it around in.
Good news, I got them working. I followed the guide here, which basically tells you how to do a manual override on the software mute switch.
It's just as fiddly as it looks. Those IC pins are ridiculously tiny, I had to use a needle to pry the pin up.
So now they're never muted, which means they'll work on everything I plug them into. Bad news is, I'm not sure the headphone minijack on the amp works anymore. But none of my headphones fit into that in the first place, so I haven't really lost anything.
Right now, I've got them plugged into a USB+ port on the back of my motherboard, which puts out something like 25w. Still uses the original amp and overcurrent limiter, though, which means I'm not in danger of frying them with too much wattage.

They shouldn't be doing that.

I decided to try other ones after and about half of them had that issue. Sometimes the issue didn't show up and sometimes it does.

I support a good deals of those at my company and literally none of them do that, so I'd be inclined to think its something apple is intentionally doing with their display models or some kind of problem that happens from being handled by anyone from 10am-10pm every day.

I have no idea. For shit and giggles I decided to connect one of the mice to my Nexus 5. The issue still happens. Something tells me it is the wireless mouses issue and not so much what device it is connected to. Still annoying as shit.
Doesn't happen with mine.
Tested with the magic mouse I have here for some reason. Didn't happen with it either.
Doesn't happen with the one I carry around in my backpack.

Nope, you can use iOS devices without the use of iTunes.
If you have your finger touching the top part of the mouse where you'd scroll when you're lifting the mouse, it doesn't disconnect. If you just lift the mouse by touching the sides a few inches off the table, it disconnects. It's weird. Sometimes it doesn't do it at all. It's aggravating.

I found a locked iPhone with no SIM card. How should I go about finding owner contact info? Are there ways I can bypass the lock?

It's an A1332, iPhone 4.

Hand it in to the police?
Hand it in to the police?
That's probably my plan. I can't figure out how to access information.
You are a good person.
Which one should I get, iPhone 6 or 6+? My hands are like medium sized.
6
So the oct 16 event has just officially been announced with the tagline "It's been way too long". What could it mean?

A 32:10 iPad?
What's the easiest way to put music on my iPhone without using iTunes?

Considering the rainbow color scheme, I'm going to bust a gut if they're going to bring back iMacs in various colors or something like that.
