Xbox 360 uses a PowerPC processor
Next-generation consoles most likely won't.
Next-generation consoles most likely won't.
The Wii U does
The Wii U does
any next gen console that matters.
So you mean the PS4.
I've heard that the PS4 and Xbox will both feature x64.
it's x86-64
I've heard that the PS4 and Xbox will both feature x64.
x64 isn't an architecture, as F3 mentioned above
x64 isn't an architecture, as F3 mentioned above
x64 is 64 bit x86
x64 is 64 bit x86
No it isn't, x86_64 is x86 with a 64-bit extension.
No it isn't, x86_64 is x86 with a 64-bit extension.
It's semantic and everyone knows what you mean when you say x64.
It's semantic and everyone knows what you mean when you say x64.
That doesn't mean he's right, you're just beating around the bush.
That doesn't mean he's right, you're just beating around the bush.
I'm not saying he's right, I'm saying you're being an ass about it.
I'm not saying he's right, I'm saying you're being an ass about it.
I don't know where I was being an ass about it? He said something wrong, I corrected him.
No it isn't, x86_64 is x86 with a 64-bit extension.
A 64 bit extension of x86 is basically a 64 bit x86. You guys are just arguing semantics.
A 64 bit extension of x86 is basically a 64 bit x86. You guys are just arguing semantics.
We are not talking semantics. We're talking definite technical terms.
We are not talking semantics. We're talking definite technical terms.
You are! What's the real difference between the ISA extension and architecture? If two processors share the same ISA they can run the same shit, this is ridiculous.
Quit sperging out, goddamn
Quit sperging out, goddamn
Thank you.
Furthermore Microsoft even refers to it at x64 So I think referring to it by x64 is completely valid, and if you're gonna sperg out about it being x86-64 you might as well say Apple uses Intel 64 not x86-64 ;)
Damn, I'm in the UK too, that's perfect and I'm more than interested but I can't get the money very quickly, I'd need to sell my iPod touch and some other stuff first what colour is it?
It's a black fronted one, i'll get some pictures. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/5m09KT.jpg[/t] It's in a case, so the scratching isn't too bad. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/27Ou1a.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/vhYoL9.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/t3iw4I.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/17wDiq.jpg[/t] It comes with the 30 pin cable and the case, no headphones though. It's also set to factory defaults.
That's really nice, damn It's just a case of how soon I can get the money
And it's got a new battery in it too. [editline]5th May 2013[/editline] Postage would cost £5 through royal mail first class.
What's the best Mac Browser? In other news, I finally got a keyboard for my mini. Safari is decent, but watching YouTube videos without AdBlock Plus is a lost cause.

IMO, chrome.
Does it have AdBlock for Mac with it? I heard a long while back that Chrome AdBlock hid ads and didn't get rid of them. Also, I love this keyboard, so quiet. It's the wired aluminum keyboard.
