Did you guys notice this The game center icon looks absolutely awful. It isn't flat at all, and doesn't fit anything else in the OS. I hope that's a WIP icon that they just accidentally left in the phone
I highly doubt it... It was kind of in the video. Honestly, it doesn't look too bad... But it's very bubbly.
I really dislike the safari icon for its white background. It reminds me of losing transparency when copying picture elements to other pictures.
So I have been making my beer money by flipping MacBooks on Craigslist. -What I've done so far- - 2008 13" aluminum MacBook for $550 and sold it $775 - 2009 15" MBP for $650 and sold it for $850. Now I just bought a 2011 13" MBP for $800, tossed a SSD in it, and threw it up on Craigslist for $1200. With AppleCare and accessories to boot. [sp]Gotta make that skrilla.[/sp]
Anyone have a developer account that would be willing to register my iPhone 5? Really want to play with iOS 7!! Please send me a PM! Thanks :)
Anyone have a developer account that would be willing to register my iPhone 5? Really want to play with iOS 7!! Please send me a PM! Thanks :)
Have you tried just installing it? There are lots of reports of people installing the beta without being registered developers http://www.iclarified.com/30995/you-can-update-to-ios-7-without-a-registered-iphone-udid
I think when my Optus contract for my lumia 800 runs out I'll be snatching an iPhone
I can confirm that you don't need to be a dev to install the beta this is really nice so far
The new design looks pretty optimized for cooling too.
I wonder what all the space inside the cylinder's going to be for - surely it's not just one large turbine, and I doubt the heatsink-and-fan combos are going to be that big as well. (Ah, nevermind - just looked it up, it is a massive heatsink. I should've learned to look it up first sooner.)
Considering investing in an upcoming iPhone since I am getting tired of my current Galaxy Ace phone. I mean, iOS is the most smoothest and fastest OS I have ever seen. And a bit prettier too, heh.
An eminently quotable from Apple's Ive-qua manifesto:
Home screen is still your Home screen, for example. Only now, it takes even better advantage of your Retina display — and the space underneath the display.
Gestures? Vague reference to the phone's innards?
An eminently quotable from Apple's Ive-qua manifesto: Gestures? Vague reference to the phone's innards?
He might be referring to the background effect. The background underneath the icons moves slightly based on the tilt sensors, giving it a sort of 3D effect. It's quite nice.

What looks like a 12 year old had a 1 hour graphic and design class then made some icons: Camera, Photos, Game Center, Safari, Mail.
is it possible to get iOS7 onto an iPad 3rd gen right now and if so will i lose any apps?
is it possible to get iOS7 onto an iPad 3rd gen right now and if so will i lose any apps?
yes you can get 7 on an *iphone* and no you wont lose your apps. http://t.co/7QDzBgwgtJ <- worked for me for iphone. Not sure if it works for ipad though.
I think it looks nice and depending on what the iPhone 5S brings to the table I may get an iphone when my contract runs out later this year
is it possible to get iOS7 onto an iPad 3rd gen right now and if so will i lose any apps?
Beta for iPad coming in a few weeks. The current phone one isn't locked to only devs, but later ones might be. I dunno. Anyway no, it won't work on your iPad. I guess a boost in camera quality, a bump in CPU speed or improvement of IPC for swift. Maybe a powerVR rogue chip. But there's not much to increase in terms of performance or the display, with everything running at 60fps and any resolution bumps not mattering with it already being at the threshold of the best human eyes.
Someone's finally gotten around to copying the requirements for Maverick on the ADC and posting them - no change. At least my old '07 aluminum iMac'll still have a few parties more.

What looks like a 12 year old had a 1 hour graphic and design class then made some icons: Camera, Photos, Game Center, Safari, Mail.
Uh except mail and weather are basically the same icon background, with a different picture. That letter is just as flat and matching as the cloud. What exactly makes the mail icon terrible and the weather one good?
the problem with the icons in my opinion is the content i.e. app store graphic is too close to the edge and doesn't have enough breathing space.
So, uh, where do I get this ipsw?
So, uh, where do I get this ipsw?
http://imzdl.com/ios.php http://gdeluxe.com/iOS-7-download/ [editline]12th June 2013[/editline] It's pretty buggy right now. Some parts are unfinished or screwy and some apps like Steam and Skype don't currently work
Steve oversaw design, he would've shut that shit out. The old Mac Pro design was amazing, and Steve knew this. Why else would he have the same basic design (handles, side door) since the PowerMac G3 blue and white? Phil Schiller needs to be in charge
My MBA's been dispatched. Thank fuck for a very short school day tomorrow. Oh shit son. MacBook Air's PCIe-Based Flash Storage Approaches 800 MB/s Read and Write
Oh man, iOS 7 lets you put Newsstand in a folder, and folders now have multiple pages. I'm on board with this.

His should arrive on the 20th. He went all out on it since he hasn't owned a computer for few years :v:
Yes, but Steve was also in charge when they made the puck mouse... Steve was not a god. Let's not believe he was.
Apple just couldn't figure out mice until the magic mouse, which is their first decent one.
