This makes my happy I got the white mini :P
Eww, white mobile devices. I don't think iOS7 would look any better or worse dependant on the colour, I was using it on a black iPhone 5 and didn't notice anything that would be better on a white device.
#whitepower
Generally the colourscheme of 7 is relatively neutral, at least it is at the homescreen.
I think the contrast between the background and the bezel would be lesser on a white iPad. There isn't any black in the UI a lot of the time.
I opted for the darker Note 2 and it looks fine when I use a darker background, I'm sure the black iPad/iPhone is the same way. I just got a white Mini because I like the more neutral colored aluminium back.

When this iPad eventually develops some horrible defect like the rest, I'll get a white replacement.
the white iPad mini looks OK, but the white 5...
the white iPad mini looks OK, but the white 5...
I don't see anything wrong with the white 5. I think it looks great with the aluminum. *Aluminium.
the white iPhone 5 killed my parents
The strips along the top and bottom of the back are really bad looking. Unnecessarily breaking up the design. At least with the black 5 the strips are more matching

But I prefer having the plastic over having my cell signal going through the aluminium. You do make me wonder though, why they couldn't use plastic that is better matched to the color of aluminium.
The iPhone 4/4s still had black plastic for the strips on the white if I recall correctly. That certainly didn't look good.

[editline]14th June 2013[/editline] iOS 7 beta on a friend's 4S is pretty sluggish. I really hope it won't be an issue in the final release considering the majority of apple devices use the A5.
ios 7 looks and runs like ass on the iphone 4

Yeah. There's a few slow downs on my iPhone 5 but it's amazing for a first beta.
Should I get a mini now or wait ?
Go see how much the screen bothers you.
I love my apple tv and use it every day. I hardly watch normal TV, I don't have sky or cable. Anything I want I buy on AppleTV - and I end up spending less money per month than if I did have sky - and I own the content forever. You can stream to the appletv using airplay too. So if you have an iPhone or iPad it's really awesome when you have friends around and want to show everyone photos, or videos.. or anything really. [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] Plus it's silent, it's small, it doesn't get hot, it's always on and it has an awesome remote control. [editline]14th June 2013[/editline] I dunno how much power the PS3 uses but
Launch PS3 PSU is rated for 380 watts and the super slim PS3 is rated for 190 watts.
Never used retina anything, only iDevice I own is iPod touch 4

Oh I didn't know it had retina :I
Oh I didn't know it had retina :I
It's pretty obvious that it's retina.
Never used anything not retina.
The iPad Mini's got a great screen for not having retina. It's crisper than the big iPads, but not as sharp as the iPhones.
The iPad Mini's got a great screen for not having retina. It's crisper than the big iPads, but not as sharp as the iPhones.
Honestly it doesn't. Even if you ignore the resolution it's still washed out. Colors on a mini look awful when you see any Apple device with a full gamut. Even non technically knowledgeable people I know who own an iPhone 5 and either an iPad 2 or a mini have mentioned to me that the iPhone 5 looks more "vivid", and that's because it doesn't just stop displaying more saturated colors once you hit like 60% saturation of a primary. All the mini really has going for it is that it's not as terrible as the iPad 2. I owned an iPad 2 and considering I couldn't even properly read webpages without zooming, it's not saying much to say it's not as bad as an iPad 2.
I give no fucks about quality, so it works for me v:v:v
How is iWork for iCloud supposed to work? Do I need to pay for some subscription? Or do people who own iWork for iOS/OSX get it?
I hope the latter
